@BritishTrainVideos Thanks for your comment. That was the end of it's stint as 35017. When the next VSOE runs in early January Clan Line will be restored to the head of the train.
Superb as always Martyn, I remember Clan Line working the North & West in the seventies when it was then based at Bulmers in Hereford.....Thanks again for the excellent work you have produced in 2011, and I look forward to more in 2012...Best wishes....Bob
@robmasterman Thanks Bob it's a pleasure. There's still one trip to cover this year, Tornado to Stratford and then that's it for me for a couple of months. (apart from two VSOE's in Jan) But already i'm looking forward to a feast of steam in 2012.
Another super compilation Martyn, and nice to see a few more enthusiasts out for 35028. It's a shame that 35028 isn't staying as 35017, as I know I would've liked to have seen her in this guise. Thanks a lot for all of the great videos you've uploaded in the past year, Merry Christmas, and have a happy new year.
@NwsNoaaChaser Thank You James. Clan Line has run in this guise before so may do it again in the future for you to catch it. And I believe the plates belong to someone within the society also. Thanks for continuing to watch my videos, here's to the next year. (although i'll be out for 60163 on the 30th) All that remains is to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year.
Another excellent video of yours Martyn, I have very much enjoyed watching all your videos this year. In your going away shot at Chilworth it is my head poking over the top of the bridge in the background! Merry Christmas to you. Ashley
@alts1985 Thank You Ashley for your support. I know that's you at Chilworth because I saw your video on the Nat Pres forum. I used to use that bridge until some repair work was done to it and now the wall is far too high for me. I take it you were stood on something and are not 8 foot plus tall? A Merry Christmas to you too.
@1Z64 Luckily I got a step ladder earlier this year, has come in very handy a few times! It was still a stretch to see over the top, the images on google map I looked at before I went were before it got re-built! All the best Ashley.
@balmesh Thanks Alan. I certainly agree with your comment. Clan Line was the first engine I videoed back in the mid eighties and we've been together ever since.
Clan Line and the VSOE is my personal favorite. There is an old story behind it why I like this train the most. And thank you Martyn, this brilliant video is a kind of extra Christmas present for me.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and full steam ahead for 2012.
@collieultimo I'm glad you're pleased with your present and i'm happy to gift wrap it for you. I shall be out on the 30th Dec to see Tornado, but apart from two more of these workings in January that'll be pretty much it for a couple of months. Thank you for your continued support and I wish you a Merry Christmas.
Superb Video the shots at Ranmore Common and Buckland are really nice I'm also in your clip at Shalford I was on the other platform filming with a monopod ponytailed guy with rucksack
@ffeog4568 Thanks for your comment much appreciated. I did notice you on the other platform. We should all wear our user names on badges so we can identify each other.

Very nice indeed. The last two clips were my favourite - a racing Bulleid is always a stirring sight broadside on! . . . . . Alan
