this is the first time ive heard this version, i know the 1985 version. Was this song that was put onto some pressings of 'Broken Arrow' ? It sounds more like a home recording than a studio one.

This is the most deep emotion i have ever felt put into music. Amazing overdub, didnt try and overdo it, just some crazy riffs at the end, that remind me of cars screaming by on the interstate.

His Lyrics do so touch the soul. I had one cassette tape (After the Gold Rush) with me on a seven day vacation years back. It was all I listened to the entire trip ad infinitum. Completely agree with you! He is definitelt gifted and can convey the human condition beautifully in his songs. I read somewhere that Dylan writes about things going on around him while Young writes about the emoions he feels inside and is able to bring those out for others to feel. That's why I gravitate to Young's music.  I have fun playing his songs and he inspires me to write my own!
