  • This is the single best thing in the history of youtube, ever.

  • Ah. All the way back at the '80s, I MEAN, '90s!!

  • Is it the 90's?

  • @TheOnlygCrusher Probably.

  • It is the '10s and there is still time for Klax

  • Note to self: never drink while watching DeceasedCrab.

  • @DeceasedCrab How do you speed up the tiles? I am starting to play Klax and I say it is the nineties and there is time for klax every time I play it. Klax for you!

  • I enjoyed this video.

  • It is the nineties... And I am making this comment!

  • It is the nineties, it is time to show mad love for underrated puzzle games!

  • hahaha

  • KLAAXXX!

  • I hope this gets featured on the front page in 2090.

  • @TriggerheartExcelica

Will there still be a youtube in 80 years??

  • I dont even know why i watch this video. i just do. something makes me do it.

  • @goth11223 I am controlling you from your teeth. Hello.

  • You know what?

I miss the 90s, when gas wasn't over three effin' dollars a gallon.

  • Klax is not only the 90's, the 90's is also klax.

    yup

  • why so much it's the 90's whatever it's still awesome....cause its the 90's

  • it's like a bad guitar hero trip! =O

  • Screw the rules, it's the 90's!

  • I like the part when he said klax

  • what decade is it?

  • Why is it the nineties???

  • I'm strangely reminded of Pez candy...

  • Sorry to just quote what you said, but "Show us on the Klax where they touched you."

I'm sorry, but you are amazing.

  • It is the 90's. And you are running in them.

  • I find this amusing because Klax

  • Ive actually played that clacker game at an arcade in utah once.

  • This is the 90s! This is the thing we do! We must match blocks with a slapping sound in the 90s! Klaxx! The 90s!

  • Double 5-tile diagonal.

What would that be, six claxxes?

  • @Mattie2013 Klaxes is with a K! Do you live in a cave?

  • At last, a game that answers the two questions that have been in my mind for years: What time is it and what is there time for?

  • I love how this was made in 1989.

  • the Nineties Can Go Klacks them Selfs

    SUBBED

  • It is the 90's! You are my hero!

  • Stop in the name of KLAX!!

  • I love Klax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude, its so not the nineties anymore.

  • I'M FUCKIN' DYIN' XDXDXD

  • One of my favorite lines from a game, they KNEW the 90s was going to be an amazing era.

  • I love how you keep saying ninetieeeees!

  • Klax! KLAX!

  • A small tip if you ever return to Klax: You can send tiles back to the queue by hitting up. The only problem this causes is, when you do it with a ton of tiles on the screen at once, you could end up screwing yourself.

And if you think this is bad, try reaching wave 100. There, you must score 1,000,000 points. I'm not joking. I made it down to where a diagonal would win it, but lost. X_X They come slow in wave 100, but in mass quantites by the time you're near victory.

  • Mister Crab, or shall I call you Deceased?

This is my first time viewing one of your videos, and I must say that it was a very enjoyable experience to finally see one.

I look forward to your future endeavours, Mr. Crab.

    -Vex

  • It is the nineties, and you should stop saying that.

  • Also, What version is this?

  • "The Ninties can go Klax themselves" XD That was funny

  • why the hell is freeman's mind in the related column

  • I don't know, but that's awesome.

  • Klax sounds like a STD.

  • My mother bought me this game for the PC, thinking it was an Amiga game. (Even though it had a sticker saying "IBM PC and Compatibles", natch). I've ignored it so far, but thanks to you, I am now intrigued by it and may have to play it. Too bad it isn't the Nineties anymore.

Keep the awesome let's plays coming! I particularly liked your Chzo Mythos runs.

  • Play cool spot!

  • IT IS THE NINETIES

    WHERE ARE MY KEYS

  • this kind of looks like guitar hero

  • I'm sorry to say this...but this game is a piece of klax.

    <_< NINETIES! NOOOOOOOOO!

  • This video is awesome! :D

  • I'm still trying to join in at anytime...

  • ...This is making me want to play Meteos for some reason.

  • haha, I found this really funny XD

  • I wish it were the nineties.

    The nineties were magical times.

  • DC are you ever going to make videos again?

  • Pestering DC to make new videos is not the thing to do. Artists create for themselves, not for their fans, and were it to be otherwise their work would suffer for it. He should continue posting only if he wishes to.

I do not, however, think it's unreasonable for fans to simply ask DC for a straight answer as to what his current situation is. Disappearing without a trace only to pop back in with an April Fool's joke is somewhat impolite.

That said, good luck Mr. Crab, wherever you are.

  • @thesoup1989 Go Klax yourself

  • DeceasedCrab... without you I have no reason to use the internet. I hope this vacation is good for you, but come back soon. My life is not complete without your witty comments and absurdist humor.

May the day come soon when we will hear your trimphan cry of "Huzzah!" again.

  • where are you?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • DC you could even make a serious play through of Superman 64 incredible! You are one of the true YouTube heros that I hope to emulate someday!

  • Gah! DeceasedCrab where have you gone?! Please, before we all die on you (and I will hold you guilty) upload something! (And if we DO die, my spirit will come and kill you; for vengeance, that is.)

  • Thanks for let's playing this game. This is a very underrated puzzle game that doesn't get very much love. Thanks for making people aware of it. Klax rules!

  • Welcome back to Let's Play Where Did DeceasedCrab Go!

On today's episode, it is the nineties and DeceasedCrab is nowhere to be found.

  • Special guest star appearance by Don Knotts!

  • And his friend, Andy Griffith.

  • I miss DC

    all i can think of..

    "IT IS THE NINETIES!"

  • Jesus H. Christ people.

Can't a person take a break from the internet for a little while? Watch his old stuff, some other videos, or figure out a way to make your own.

    Holy crap.

  • when will there be a new video DC?

  • Slowed update schedules indicate the end of something. I say there's a pretty good chance DC's Let's Plays are going to come to an end very soon. He's probably gotten bored of it.

  • Give the guy time and space.

  • Klax seems disturbing.

  • You're not alone on this.

  • Deceased Crab you must Decease this vacation of yours! You're fans are dying of famine! They are looking up at you're glorious radiance asking for you to release a video worthy of viewing! Do it fast DC the fans are dropping like flies and soon nothing will be left except for the smell of dead corpses and crows!

Seriously though, if you're taking suggestions (WHICH I REALLY DOUBT) play... Plok or Harvest moon (horribly fat chance I kno), or even some space invaders.

  • I'm enjoying watching you all begin to panic. He's made near a thousand videos. I say he's contributed enough and doesn't need bothering. If he's stopping, you can't really say it wasn't a long run.

  • ...Maybe he moved to the Midnight Channel?

  • where are you DC? I miss you!

  • DC, oh god, please Let's Play something. The internets are boring without you! I beg this of you! I am really graveling right now!

  • Did you do your taxes DC?

  • Of course!

  • i wonder when you played this game?

  • STOP THE NINETIES I WANT TO GET OFF

  • Hey DC, why aren't you making videos any more?

  • when will you be back!!?? we miss you!

  • XD

    I remember this game. :3

  • It is the nineties, and Deceased Crab has run out of things to LP!...I think.

  • And just when there was hope.

    He's gone in a flash.

  • It is the Nineties, and Let's Plays didn't exist. :(

Though seriously, enjoy your game and your break from dealing with recording. I see it's based on the Riftwars series. Would you recommend the Riftwars novels?

  • Invasion of the KLAXIANS! Hide your families and bring forth the giant floating paddle!

We will incinerate these Klaxians using their own biology by lining up similarly colored Klax, apparently they dissolve when multiples of the same color align... it is our only hope...

  • Klax missed what every nineties game needed, A lame video game mascot.

Well I guess they could just throw some sunglasses on the hand...

  • Betrayal at Krondor is what is keeping you from making new videos then? :P

  • Grrr, you whippersnappers, play yer own video games, your lucky to even have them, in my day we didn't eve... *falls asleep.*

  • This game reminds me of Pogs.

  • It has been a REALLY long time, since you took a so long Pause from your Let's Play routine ! ;)

I hope you're enjoying your well deserved Pause. :D

  • This made my day =O and brought back so many memories of my old Amstrad CPC 64 on which I used to lose at Klax.

  • I know you're playing a game somewhere out there DC.

just turn on that recorder and talk about it while you do.

    come ooooon.

  • Betrayal at Krondor is a long and involved RPG that would bore the hell out of most of you to watch. That said, I encourage you all to play it anyway.

  • Well, you're the one betraying us, and it is boring the hell out of me.

  • I was actually thinking of trying out Betrayal at Krondor a few weeks ago while checking out Abandonia, but settled on replaying Eye of the Beholder instead. Then I found my old copy of Fallout 1, and pretty much forgot about it, but if you say it's worth playing, I may have to go check it out.

  • Puhleeze. You could make a video of one of your cats taking a dump and as long as you were talking during it, most people here would watch it. However, your cat would not likely enjoy it.

  • Then bore us with it with commentary.

  • I'm downloading it now. That will give me somthing to do while I take a break between sessions of Oracle of Seasons.

  • Oh wow. That brings back memories! That and The World of Xeen were two of my favorite RPGs, back in the day.

  • Not that I'm saying you should EVER release a Let's Play video, because lord knows how boring an LP of Betrayal at Krondor would be, but Woo! 90's DOS RPGs!

  • don't be so sure, some of us watched the entire original la-mulana run... twice.

  • That, is one of the finest games ever made. Allow me to offer you an endorsement of spending your time that way. I fear...playing it here would do it disservice.

I bought a sealed copy of the CD version.

  • You could play the most boring game in the world, but if you have fun making an LP of it, Im sure it would be entertaining. I find your best videos to be the ones where youre having the most fun.

  • Betrayal at Krondor is an awesome RPG. It's a shame that whenever I tried to play it on my own computer, I couldn't beat the Install Boss. He was hard :(. Kept "Divide by Zero Error"ing out on me.

Perhaps I'll give it another shot under DosBox now that things have matured ... a lot. In the last ... ... 7 years since I last tried it.

  • Actually I think the Klax hand is someone making a shadow puppet of a dog.

  • IT IS THE NINETIES and it's time for snap bracelets.

  • Those were awesome but they got banned by schools because they realized you could remove the cover and have a fairly sharp piece of metal.

  • Yeah, they looked nifty but they really did suck lol. They would tear easy and the thing would pop out. If you sweated too much the metal could discolor your wrist. They came and went pretty fast. Those things that you moved up and down to get the arms to swing and bounce off each other over and over lasted a while longer though. I think they might have been called clackers ironically.

  • Children = Prison Inmates?

Seriously! How do kids think up this kind of stuff?!

"I can totally take this piece of metal out and kill my cell mate... uh... I mean "peer" with it."

  • I never understood the fixation with sharp objects. For a place that gives kids free pencils, scissors, compasses, and a huge number of other "dangerous" items, you'd think they'd let slip with a few bent paperclips and broken slap bands.

  • Say DC, do you prefer when people address you as "Deceased Crab" or "DeceasedCrab"

  • You're the first person to ask or care. I know I don't.

  • This looks like a game I'd suck at. :P

  • The falling tile scream is awesome.

  • It is the Ninties. The joystick is in my hand. Twelve years into my future it is lying in a junk heap in Texas.

It is the Ninties. Colored blocks tumble down to my little peg. Mixing. Matching. They fade away.

It is the Ninties. The game over is now upon me. For the last time I play Klax. It is the ninties. Bored now. I drop the controller from my hand.

  • A day from now a person at a computer clicks a link marked "Approve". 12 seconds afterward, he is distracted by a cat.

4 seconds ago he wonders if he should eventually get around to seeing the watchmen movie. 15 minutes from now, he is eating a sandwich.

  • That hurt my brain :/.

  • MmMmM sammich!

  • Wha..... Wha.... DUDE, you know Archon, you know M.U.L.E., You know KLAX TOO?!?! Did you grow up in the exact same way I did or something? You know just about every single odd or single hit games I've played so far! Ahh Childhood, I remember thee well.

  • where'd you go dc?

  • It is the nineties and it is time for gross noise.

  • Oh Good Great Scott I remember this game. I was VERY bad at it! Great vid!

  • Fun game. You'd think that they wouldn't be so dumb as to put such a specific chronological reference in their opening sequence. :)

Anyway, DC...I have a recommendation. You should play I Wanna Be...just kidding. I'm not stupid enough to say that.

Seriously, I'd like to see you play Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels. It's not nearly as hard as its famed to be, and not too many Americans have played it.

Barring that, I suppose you could do Let's Play La Mulana Again...Again!

  • I smell a new catch phrase....

  • I liked that you kept referencing the fact that "It's the 90s!"

  • "It is the nineties, stop being terrible at Klax!" Hilarious.

  • Whenever I hear your voice I'm instantly in a better mood :]

  • same

  • Glad to see you're still dead.

  • I have a sudden urge to wear plaid flannel and sign a contract with America.

  • It is the Klaxties.

    It is time for Ninety.

  • Im thinking that Deceased Crab found romance on his spring break and that she is the reason he isnt posting new videos every day. Way to go Deceased Crab! You are the man!

  • What an odd line of thought. you would make him bitter if he didn't find romance you know.

  • Hypothetical Hi-Five!

  • It could just be that he's been doing this for two years, and decided to stop.

  • Clowndog

    Showtime

    Klax Klax!

  • IT IS THE NINETIES! man I haven't had a good laugh in a while until I saw this right now. The nineties was the best time to be a kid... we had it all! super nintendo, genesis, ps, saturn, n64, windows 95...dial up...lol. As well as the best cartoons... animaniacs, johnny quest, street sharks...and more (born in 1990...XD)

  • That's not how you Klax!!!

  • Way to say "KLAX!!!" 24 times DC! Can't wait for your next LP! (please!)

  • It is the Klaxities, it's time for Ninety!

  • Good to see you're back! How was your pause? I hope fine

Also, it seems you can turn EVERY game into instant fun. IT IS THE NINETIES after all, and DC is back! Huzzah!

  • Klax on... Klax off. Klax on... Klax off.

  • This game is a guitar hero ripoff.

  • Funky game.

  • (From the Opening to Hokuto no Ken 2)

    We are livin'

Livin' in the nineties (nineties nineties nineties)

    We still fight

fightin' in the nineties (nineties nineties nineties)

  • nice job

  • Just thinking about the nineties, Klax and Endorfun are just so wrong. I vaguely remember some controversy over supposed subliminal messages in Endorfun, too. Evil game.

I love the world and it loves me... and KLAX!

  • HUZZAH!!!! It's the nineties

  • What era is it, again?

  • What is there time for?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have reason to believe that it is the nineties.

  • something with a nine in it

  • Everybody Klax now! Late comment, since YouTube thought it'd be funny to not let me log in amongst the upside-down nonsense they pulled.

No research has been done, so that song may or may not be from the nineties.

  • I discovered this game about a year ago & I always felt a creepy vibe from it. The whole "It is the 90's" & screaming KLAXs as they fall to their KLAXy death makes me think this is some kind of alternate future. Or is it a big metaphor where we're the KLAX, ever so tumbling towards our end in hopes to be saved by the drop meter of hope. Or maybe it's just a game & I'm mumbling like a madman, naw that's not it at all!

  • I dearly love Klax. I burned so many quarters in the arcade on this game.

  • Well that isn't the most exciting game ever.

  • So Living Lobster kidnapped you and put you in the Nineties? Nice to see you back DC. Wow... Playing Klax, probably it hurts

  • DC, have you finally lost you mind?

  • It's not fair!

    IT'S NOT FAIR!!!

There was time now...there was so much time...

    IT IS THE NINETIES!!

  • It is the nineties, and we are thoroughly amused. Welcome back.

  • DeceasedCrab will never leave the nineties alive! Nobody has ever cleared Klax.

  • The best bit though is that the game is copyright 1989. As in, not the nineties yet.

  • THE NINETIES

    PLAY SOME KLAX.

  • !!!!!!!!!

I was wondering where you were... but leaving an obnoxious comment wouldn't have helped, would it?

    Huzzah! The Crab has returned!

  • curse youtube for flipping my text.

I should type in Japanese just to annoy the youtube people. :P

  • Or to be more precise, it is the eighties...1989!

  • goodbye DC, We'll miss you... its so like you to head out with an April Fool's Joke

  • Clown Dog showtime, Klax Klax!

  • Dude I love klax!

  • The NES version was superior. It actually had music. "Caves of Cthulhu" for the win.

  • I thought you were dead.
