Ah god, I hate seeing brittle stars that move like that! It's just so disturbing! The ones I've seen in person simply wriggle all their limbs to move around, but these actually pick themselves up in order to move!

My brittle star starfish killed her self, the central disk just started looking strange, and it looks like it's eating it self, today the disk is gone and the legs are only there ... but i could not take them off as they still move! i done know if it will regenerate or is it really dead :(

its a brittle star me and my brother purchased rocks from pets at home and found a brittle star identical to the one in the video and two hermit crabs

Well when a fish in our tank is sick or dying he will track it down smelling the sickness and start to devour it....or my husband feeds him a whole prawn in some pinchers and the brittle star sucks it into its belly (the soft part) to digest later
