This would make more sense for the rescues which show up on scene and wait for a private ambulance to show up and transport

well, this vehicle doesnt transport anyone but ff's/emt's...so they would still have to wait for an ambulance...

but the way it works out here they pay A LOT of money for an ambulance that shows up on scene and waits for another ambulance to pick up the patient. If you ask me this makes more sense for them to respond in!

oh ya. i know what you mean. our volunteer fd usually beats the full time paramedics and cops...

What do they use that pick up truck in the background for?

its the public awarness chief's vehicle. he goes around to stores and schools and teaches people about fire safety. that is him standing by the road

Those LED beacons on the top rear of that truck are kinda neat... Don't think I've ever seen those before... Do they use this new truck to tow the boat now?
