Btw this song rocks, but damn it, the guy doing the solo titted it all up man! One of the few solos I enjoy. ='( But screw it, song still rocks. The riffing at 3:23 is a freaking orgasm. =D
Barlow is one of my favourite metal vocalists since he's so immensely talented. But there's no doubt The Ripper is an extremely good singer. I'll echo a previous poster's regrets that someone who's so good at singing has been kicked around so much (Judas Priest, Iced Earth).
Tim can scream like Rob Halford USED to do. Tim can growl as Barlow does, but with more grind to it. C'mon, just because Barlow has been there from the beginning, but bailed out just he liked a blue suit and to wave a gun, doesnt mean barlow IS better.
I agree with you 100%. I think they should have let Tim sing on The Crucible of Man Something Wicked PArt 2 then they should have brought Barlow back. I wonder I prefer Ripper Owens in Iced Earth. I was really looking forward to a live Iced Earth album with Ripper on vocals. Nevertheless, Iced Earth is ICed Earth reguardless of who's on vocals in my opinion.
Ripper was awesome, but I like Barlow just a little bit better though. Honestly, I feel really bad for Ripper, because he's been kicked around too much for a guy with so much talent.
@Histenchist I honestly like Ripper a lot. I think he always sounds great, but Barlow is sometimes great and other times dreadful. I like his performance on the original 'Wicked' trilogy, but IMO Ripper did it better on the re-release.
i hate the power metal
aunque iced earth es lo unico

Iced Earth is John Schaffer. No matter who is the vocalist. Jon Schaffer is the man behind the music. he writes it all
