The logic in me says that sloths are herbivores and can only eat plants, and that whatever those large tharapods are they are carnivores and can only eat meat, and that this scene is based on human athropomorphism since we are omnivores which eat mostly plants but also meat, and it doesn't make any sense for non-omnivores.

The non-logic in me, however, says "lolz". Which I believe was the intended reaction.
