I wish we would have taken more care of him instead of putting him back in when he was injured and clearly not 100%... If we had sidelined him until he recovered from his injuries he could have come back and been his old self.

I have to say Alexander and Mark Ingram are the best 2 backs Alabama ever had ....Trent Richardson is coming ...Ingram is a lot stronger ,Alexander a tad faster and shiftier both have/had excellent vision , but Ingram break s alot more tackles ,Id have to say Ingram the Heisman trophy winner is better than Shaun, Ingram is the best back Ive ever seen at Alabama

You know what I thought was that the year after his MVP Season u kno where he was injured for 6 games I thought after that he had a fear of getting hit cuz he's never had a major injury in his life so that made him more tentative at running the ball and not pounding the ball in.

@alexVL44 Id have to say that any back that starts in the nfl for as many yrs as Alexander will lose a little of everything by time they are near 30 , any NFL career is usually short when 300 lb Lineman and 200 lb DBs with 4.4 speed hit you with full force ,Im surprized he lasted as long as he did , but he was a great back maybe they can get Mark Ingram next year
