@linkinfan18 i think silent hill has something near 10 volumes so probably at least one is for xbox, it's good, the focus is more on puzzles sometimes, sometimes you can have goals and will not have time to fight or be able to fight, i like it too much but i played just 3 volumes: Silent Hill 1, Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill 2.

(First part) Alma killed many of the Armachan scientists, and was then put into a coma because they couldn't control her powers, and wanted to refrain her from using htme, so they induced a com on her and locked her in The Vault. Later on, they wanted to screate offsprinf with psychic abilities like Alma had, so they put two impregnanted her with 2 fertilized embryo's, to which the gave birth to the Point Man & Paxton Fettel.

She died at the age of 26, and thats why you see her as that older naked version, because that's how she was. She was put in The Vault, I believe right before her 8th birthday. The reason why she goes after Beckett, is because she has feelings for him, but because of her psychic abilities it puts him at risk. (Ask more if needed.)

to get fully involved you have to play the first main game FEAR1 and the 2 addons, extraction point and perseus mandatte.

the 2 addons didnt send much infos,but some nice facts were discovered, and the FEAR2 part, gives you a view after the first character disappeared or died (you dunno at the end of perseus mandatte). FEAR2 starts 30 mins before FEAR1 ends, if you played both, you would have known what its all about

tbh its only kinda scary, the real scary game is the exp to the first game fear files, that is hands down the scarist game i have ever played, none of the silent hills games even come close to fear files. also i sugest playing both the first fear and fear files to get the story line. tho i warn you they are scary.

There are always things lost in translation from movie > game, and most game-movie tie ins are terrible (e.g Resident Evil). I think its better for its reputation to remain as a game franchise
