If you want a better waterproof case i would recommend the life proof case they are completely water proof no muffled sound while listening to music or talking on it. I would be perfect for hiking.

If you're playing music, can you still hear the speakers through the case? or is it all pretty muffled?

@MrG01979 The sound is pretty muffled but you can hear it. Also, I have discovered that if you want to make a phone call, you need to use a blue tooth headset.

@MrG01979 A bit distorted. Very good a keeping your iPhone dry but not so good on sound quality. I just picked up a new waterproof case and will do a review this weekend.

Is the case very big, as in thick? Is it a pain to put it in your pocket?

@manofbutter Because of it's design, it almost doubles the thickness of the iPhone and adds a bit in width as well. I love this case for when I am hiking/camping/kayaking because it is 100% waterproof. This is not a case you would use every day and because of it's waterproof design, you do not have access to any of the ports/buttons. This is a great case for protecting your phone from the elements but not something you would use every day. Hope this helps and thanks for the question and watching
