I love how it makes people feel insignificant by saying how we "live on an insignificant planet, of a humdrum star, lost in a galaxy, tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe, in which there are far more galaxies than people."
But, then he reminds us that it's our minds, our ideas, "our courage of our questions and the depths of our answers" that gives us purpose and the real reason to continue on. Fantastic video, I loved it.
Carl Sagan is a brilliant and more importantly kind hearted man. He has devoted a lot of time to the plight of animal rights. He has called animal testing one the greatest injustices. I appreciate his teachings and his ethical approach to science.

I love how it makes people feel insignificant by saying how we "live on an insignificant planet, of a humdrum star, lost in a galaxy, tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe, in which there are far more galaxies than people."
But, then he reminds us that it's our minds, our ideas, "our courage of our questions and the depths of our answers" that gives us purpose and the real reason to continue on. Fantastic video, I loved it.

Carl Sagan is a brilliant and more importantly kind hearted man. He has devoted a lot of time to the plight of animal rights. He has called animal testing one the greatest injustices. I appreciate his teachings and his ethical approach to science.
