  • I agree with all three esp. your stand thing. Then move on slowly to the time you want to train your dog to stay. For the GCT that I had to take in a class that I took. I had to have my dog sit or lay and stay for three minutes. I started slow and moved my way up and and with work from my afternoon person, I was able to get my dog (basset hound) to stay for three minutes. and I got 100 percent on the test (she missed 1 point for him being a slow sitter for her) but still 79.80 is real good.
