Also the iPhone wins in the long run, multitasks better, starts apps a bit faster, iPhone 4 ram runs at around 250mb to 300mb regularly with no apps running, the iPod has 256 installed so right there is a win for iPhone. If you use them everyday the speed difference isn't even seen. They're both great apple things, and also the games starts immediately. Gaming is also the same, there are no lags. And I think, that Avatar didn't start, because most of ipod ram was in use. In my opinion 256 mb ram for ipod is enough for gaming and other staff :)

ipod touch had more apps, gamedatas which will make your game slower

and apps uses memories

and peggle or whatever that thing is i think you had it on your multitasking

so next time you do a speed test restore both device or make them exactly same
