  • incredible! love their fooling around...so light and playful

  • why is judy a gay icon?

  • @RealspitHiphop604 Judy is a gay icon like her even uglier daughter, and Barbra for that matter, because the three are fucking beasts, thus transvestites have a fighting chance of imitating them. Masculine or ugly women are easier for effeminate men to copy.

  • @Virtuosic1 makes perfect sense, thanks.

  • @RealspitHiphop604 Because she is a diva!

  • I love how there voices compliment each other . They're not trying to out sing each other like duets now-days. They're just having fun not competing. <3

  • My 2 favorite actors/singers making magic!

  • This is entertainment!

  • why can't divas behave like this :)

  • Judy beat the shit out of her vocal damage to belt some of those notes, good girl.

  • This has to be the most perfect duet of all time, It's just so sad that Judy isn't here with us anymore for another one.

  • OMG, Judy looks here just so happy.. It breaks my heart to think about the way she died and the way she was mistreated with life and particularly by her mother.. At least she had her voice and the many fans. RIP Judy Garland. The MAGNIFICENT Judy Garland, you were a beam of light in this dark world.

  • Amazing from start to finish

  • my ears just melted with happiness!! ; )

  • I effin love the texture of Judy's voice!

  • Barbara's truly amazing! Any professionnal singer knows it! She's a living legend =D

  • OMG awesome!!! two fantastic artists!!

  • Pure talent!! :D

  • GOD. I LOVE these two. <3

  • Barbara was considered by Garland as one of the last great "belters" and Barbara is a jack of all trades in the entertainment industry. She has been a prodigy since she was extremely young, even through her family's hardship. She's a great actor, has a wonderful voice, and also acts as an amazing film producer and director. I was never a big fan of Barbara's type of music (aside from her work with Judy) but I recognize that she is an icon of several generations. That's why Barbara is amazing.

  • why are people ragging on barbra? she looks/is so precious here!

  • Barbra is amazing. she can not be compared to anyone, so do not even try to question why she became such a big star, she is simply amazing and there is no doubt about it. It is obvious that you are just jealous or do not know what real music is. i.e - tone deaf.

    Peace out.

  • Am I the only one who doesn't get how barbara streisand became such a big star? She has a good voice... but so do a million girls out there. I think at least 90 percent of it is the ambitious jew inside of her. I've personally met girls who aren't famous who have voices of an angel... but they don't do anything with it. Barbara is not that cute and has an okay voice... why is she super famous?

  • I was in a very bad mood. This made SO happy :D :D :D

  • The comments on here are disgusting...

That performance was brilliant, nothing but talent!

  • i love these ladies

  • Barbra looks like she went through a minefield compared to Judy.

  • two wonderful singers !! together ! so great !

i didn't know judy and barbra had sung together !

    thanks for posting ^^

    so thrilling !!

  • i love it

  • No auto tune, pro tools, or live performance vocal enhancers back then. It's like there was just a big boom of prodigies back then or something, cause 99.9% of the singers you hear now just don't compare to the ones back then at all - even with all the technological help.

  • @noneya85 Unlike the hyped-up performances that characterize show business today, Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand relied on nothing but their talents in this duet. It demonstrates that if you have a voice and talent, then you don't need the lighting, staging, and audio "tricks" that today's performers rely on, all of which only serve to distract the audience's attention from the performer's shortcomings. Talent like Garland and Streisand are sorely lacking today.

  • @2:25 barbra steals it with her charm :)

  • i love how Judy gets so into the music @ 1:20 - 1:40

  • 1 word: Distortion.

  • ahora me doy cuenta que Barbara está embalsamada.

  • Oh Gosh! I could eat Barbra, she is so cutie and sweet! <3

  • I'm guessing that this video gives gay white dudes over 40 spontaneous orgasms.

  • They make it seem to easy!

  • WONDER LAdies!

  • man, two very different sorts

  • judy reminds me of mel appleby with that cheeky smile and body language (if you get chance to see an interview) may they both rest in peace x

  • sometimes Barbra remainsme Jen Aniston,,, both are so beautifulls

  • thumbs up if u r a straight guy n ur listen to this!.......

  • @estebanzenteno four people. hahaha

  • @estebanzenteno Grow up, faggot.

  • @JohnLawrenceCobraKai Dude, I think you're gay.

  • @billyboylb Grow up, faggot.

  • @JohnLawrenceCobraKai Grow up, faggot.

  • @estebanzenteno i'm trying to be stealth, got my head phones on... no one can know..

  • Judy breaks some balls @ 3:05-3:12, and Barbra clearly loves it!

  • @billygoyboy How ironic that Judy should be bustin' Barbra the Beast's balls and her daughter Liza looks like she was BORN with balls!! Poor Judy. The decades of heavy drinking and popping goof balls, the shock treatments, the avid cock-swoggling, the countless men that wound her up andthen walked out on her, like a wind-up, "fuck me", busted Judy doll with a broken spring.. if that wasn't all enough, giving birth to a fucking monster was the coupe-de'gracie`, a fitting cap on a life of misery.

  • @Virtuosic1 watch?v=h_MCeiHR_Mw

  • @Virtuosic1 How can you say something like that? If you're going to flog Liza, don't do it on the page of a woman who loved her daughter very much. Judy's life was upsetting, she was treated miserably, but you'd need to be Judy Garland herself to decide if she led a miserable life. I have a feeling she would disagree with you, too. She had three beautiful (yes BEAUTFIUL) children. Liza got older. We all do. Forgive me if we don't all look like fucking Angelina Jolie when we get old.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 Only the blind could possibly confuse even a YOUNG Liza Minelli with Angelina Jolie. Liza is no more of a beast now then she was 40 years ago! Since birth, EVERY day was her "que Brute' Day". Doesn't make her a bad person. Not all monsters are. Look at Beauty and the Beast. He was nice, right?

  • @Virtuosic1 Um, pardon me, I didn't CONFUSE her with Angelina Jolie. Only an idiot would confuse Liza Minnelli with someone so talentless. I was merely stating that not all of us can be as mind-bogglingly beautiful as Ms. Jolie. I never said being ugly made anyone a bad person. I said don't call people ugly. Ever. Some people believe in the ridiculous notion that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 Trust me, if you were in a crowd, and openly declared Liza to be ugly, your opinion would be in line with the overwhelming majority of anyone close enough to hear your testimony.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 And for the record, Angelina Jolie isn't my cup of tea. I don't find anorexic women attractive at all. Especially middle age women, living on one olive, a piece of melba toast, and 16 glasses of water per day in a failed effort to appear younger and waifish.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 well, I would say that Angelina Jolie is quite a good actor. she has won the Academy Award, which most people will never win...So I don't think she is that bad as you put it...

  • @moviemusicfan10011 And just look at Barbra. She's a beast too with that Ashkenazy honker and her crossed eyes, understandably from trying to peer around that massive schnozz, her eyes remaining transfixed on it, she looks like she's wearing one of those nose/glasses novelty items, yet ANOTHER "raving beauty".

  • @Virtuosic1 And if you're going to poke fun at these people, at least TRY to use proper grammar and learn to spell. You wouldn't want to look COMPLETELY incompetent, would you? Minnelli is spelled with two "n's", not one, and Barbara is spelled with an "a" in between the second "b" and second "r". I do wonder why you are commenting on the video. It isn't as if the title is misleading. If you dislike the subject, and evidently you aren't a big fan of either of the two women, don't watch.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 Asshole, Barbra spells HER OWN FUCKING NAME the same way I spelled it. She is known as BARBRA, the way I spelled it, not Barbara, the standard spelling. Spelling is what you must resort to to try to mount some type of argument, you sad, fucking mule?

  • @Virtuosic1 Wow, calm your shit, it's a simple mistake. Somebody needs to relax. And it isn't me. I think that if you're going to talk smack about the performer's appearance, go to a video that is ridiculing the appearance of said performer, not a video that is (I'm hoping) dedicated to the talent of the performer. If you want to criticize the performance, be my guest, but nobody is concentrating on their looks but you.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 And nobody is concentrating how I spell their name, especially when correct! And I am relaxed.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 What makes you think I'm poking fun at these people? Barbra's jew nose, Judy's tragic life, and Liza's monstrous appearance aren't humorous at all. They're plain facts, the same as the fact that you don't know how Barbra spells her own name, and by accusing me of mispelling it, YOU'RE the pontificating, fucking moron, not me, as if we're all being graded for spelling and typos here, where the typical collective IQ of anyone who posts on youtube is well south of 80.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 Wasn't it some Japanese filmaker, some 30 years ago that tried to talk both Liza AND Barbra in perfroming in the the feature roles of some horror film? They were supposed to be cast as the monsters, If I recall.

  • @Virtuosic1 and sorry, I don't concentrate on the flops actors make. Because all of them make them. I'll see the shitty movie once, understand that it was shitty, and forget about it. There isn't an actor in the history of acting that hasn't been in at least ONE bad movie, TV series, play, or other type of production.

  • @moviemusicfan10011 They did some years ago, in the early 80s I believe. Some slope cast Barbra and Liza as monsters in his sci-fi/horror flick. They were low budget, couldn't afford makeup, so they chose Barbra and Liza to play the monsters, au naturale', no makeup, no appliances, they just did alot of closeups, pretty fucking horryifying if you ask me, but not quite scary enough to scare the bejesus out of japanese audiences. Hence, it flopped.

  • Be honest, do you think that I have a better voice?

  • Just,,....Amazing!

  • amazing note at 3:05!!!!!!

  • @Poet2916 The two best vibrattos in the business!

  • @billygoyboy Yeah! Vibratos in search of voices.

  • this gives me my Judy fill everyday!

  • Amazing two big Divas together .

  • this is when music was real... this is when singers were real singers. and im only 20. i wish i was born in those days,

  • really? people really suck... 19 dislikes but they could have hit the X button at any time "high five" 1690 other non sucky people :D

  • Such wonderful chemistry....two Divas...best of all time...Streisand still working it

  • Barbra was only 21 here. Next year she turns 70.

  • @catholicpriest1 She doesn't look a day over 69!!

  • CHEMISTRY!! Magical synergy of 2 genius women!!

  • Comment removed

  • @Virtuosic1 You're such a fag

  • They are painfully talented and both so radiant.

  • what year was this filmed?

  • the first line is enough: judy satirizing, saying "at least they can't cut our voices out of the budget ...!" - referring to the spartan stage - but that works for them anyway - judy cracks another funny you can get from about 1:55 to 2:07 - funny, knowing that "arlen" was the guy who wrote "over the rainbow" and "get happy" - poetry in motion

  • Jag skulle gifta mej med vem av er båda, närsom helst "kanske" Om ".

  • Ni är härliga och behöver inte bråka om bäst, för ni är båda bäst!

  • They're BOTH fantastic in their own way. This is absolutely BRILLIANT <3

  • @gigicd86 yes who cares about octaves, it's her personality, and how that personality gets on, moment by moment, with another one, that's what it's about

  • @gigicd86

that's right - who cares about octaves, it's Garland's personality, through her voice, that's always mattered - sounds to me like a pretty throaty brass instrument but she probably never sang within her best range in a single song ...? but who does except, say, leonard cohen, and he's never been puttin' on the ritz. this sounds great and works great anyway

  • Respond to this video... that's right - who cares about octaves, it's Garland's personality, through her voice, that's always mattered - sounds to me like a pretty throaty brass instrument but she probably never sang within her best range in a single song ...? but who does except, say, leonard cohen, and he's never been puttin' on the ritz. this sounds great and works great anyway

  • oooo Streisand!!!... she just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside!! :-)

  • Barbara couldn't look more Jewish if she was wearing peyos, a yarmulke, and spinning a driedel!

  • When was this?

  • Judy is better

  • @Virtuosic1 wow -never heard anyone say that

is it her voice you do not like or do you have inside info- heresay?

  • @clazza01 She lacks anything in her voice and phrasing that even resembles a dollop of soul and her voice is very ordinary.

  • @Virtuosic1 Too bad you didn't judge music for a living. Because you obviously do not know the woman's legend, and her 4 octave range.

  • @HydrolicXL Yeah! I know nothing about music, you fucking ape. I've worked as a studio musical director/composer/arranger for a major label in NYC for the past 20 years, cocksucker. My piano improv video can be seen by searching Virtuosic1, you fucking mule. You want to hear vocal range? Listen to Lisa Fischer. Ever hear of her? Judy was a very average voice that got where she did by spending more time on her knees, chasing foul balls, than any major league catcher. 4 octaves? Guess again, fool

  • @HydrolicXL 4 octaves?? Really, you dumb fuck! Name a Youtube video where she reveals a range of even THREE octaves (that's 37 chromatic intervals), you musically ignorant schmuck. 4 octaves, my fucking ass. Where did you read that? Wherever you did, it was written by someone who hasn't a fucking clue, you cunt. Judy BARELY used two full octaves (25 chromatic intervals) in all her tunes, let alone the 3 I asked you to show me, or the four you wrote of, asshole that you are.

  • @Virtuosic1 Wow you're a very angry person! Lighten up.

  • @blykken I'm not angry at all. On the contrary, I post entirely without emotion. Facts have no emotions. Perhaps you should re-evaluate your perception, it's not as keen as you imagine, and then you can fucking lighten up.

  • @Virtuosic1 Haha, calm down pookie.

  • @blykken I'm never anything but calm because I don't make wildly inaccurate statements, like "Judy had a four octave range" to people who actually know better. It's easy to remain calm when you're not a fucking idiot of the highest caliber.

  • @blykken i agree. prolly some troll who never gets sex.

  • @Virtuosic1 Dear child, your tantrums amuse me, I won't waste the energy of writing a detailed explanation with evidential baring to my claim. I'm a musical historian and producer of cRUDE Records. But besides the point, you assume such nonsensical bullshit and uneducated theories with no proof. I'm sure you think Freddie Murcury has the potential range of a E1b flat. Even with his amazing falsetto's in various songs and his OCTAVES. You know nothing, and here is my proof Go to Wikipedia =)

  • @HydrolicXL Asshole, Wikipedia is often WRONG. Learn how to spell Mercury prior to trying to discuss him, schmuck.

  • @HydrolicXL E1b flat is not a range, nor a proper note. Do you mean Eb 1 (low Eb on the piano?), you fucking fool? The fact that you MUST use Wikipedia speaks volumes about your musical knowledge. With all the errata I've read on Wiki, I wouldn't consult that site for instructions on boiling water.

  • @Virtuosic1 Yea you uneducated child, your highschool music class grade education is sad. In the end, everyone know's and remember's Judy Garland's. But no one will remember anything you've said. It clearly says she has a 4 octave range on over 3,400 credted source sites So if you can debunk all of them, including wikipedia. Then go for it, and yea I spelled Farrokh Bulsara's stage name wrong. But it is his birth name that counts, and do not dare go after Freddie. That man was a vocal genius.

  • @Virtuosic is an emotional wreck. Who is one of those trolls on youtube. Who thinks he or she knows everything. Going around calling other unintelligent, and idiotic fools. Yea that's all good you shit for brains dickhead. But you have yet to bring the evidence I have clearly stated, debunking my statements. Your history of music is as sensible as the clock around Flavor Flav's neck. You've no words here boy, you think your one youtube comment can discredit over 2.3 million + fans/critics? lmao

  • @HydrolicXL I'm still waiting for you to post a Video of Judy displaying a 4 octave range, you ignorant musical imbecile. And I mean that very analytically!

  • @Virtuosic1 judy had an *exquisite* voice. unfortunately, time, alcohol, drugs, and the like took their toll on it. when she was younger, her voice was prettier and more birdlike, and of course, her vibrato was always sublime. i think judy and barbra had comparably beautiful voices. i don't know what her octave range was and i don't care.

  • @No1KCfan6 Bird-like? Similar to Streisand's "toucan-BEAK", do you mean?

  • @Virtuosic1 that's right. us fags DO love our judy....and guess what? HAPPY GAYS......ARE.......HERE.....A......GAAAIIIIIIIN!!!!

  • @Virtuosic1 errr i don't get you!

     Moose, who he?

  • @Virtuosic1 Errr, why a moose? Are there moose where Judy is from? I'm English if that helps

  • @Virtuosic1 What is your problem? If you don't enjoy great singing then don't listen.

  • @cajanwitch60 I do enjoy great VOCALS. But this is pure, white-bread, soul-less, bullshit. Search: Brownstone "If you love me", or Lisa Fischer How Can I Ease the Pain, or Celine Dion "All By Myself", then come back and tell me about this pure shit. These are two singers completely devoid of a soul.

  • @Virtuosic1 Please.. go watch some other videos of Judy singing. You'll see that she really did put all her heart and soul into her songs.

  • @bobgirlxx96 effort means nothing. You either have it, or you don't. Judy's singing is as fucking white bread as you can get, and justifiably so, as she IS white. But there ARE white singers with a soul. Like I said, go listen to Celine Dion sing All by Myself, then listen to this. Ny comparison, Judy sounds like Eddie Murphy's vocal characterization of a white man.

  • @Virtuosic1 You are absolutely one of the most disturbed people on Youtube. Constantly using abusive ad hominems to justify your asinine opinions will only make you look even more pathetic than you already are (imagine that). I've seen some of your other comments about homosexuality on Youtube. No hetero man invests this much energy into hating gays as you do. You are clearly a closet case, probably middle-aged, overweight, and deeply self-loathing. Have fun figuring yourself out before you die.

  • @TwelveToneRow You are absolutley correct. I am overweight. By about 80 pounds above the average (suggested) medical weight for a man of my height. But, it's not fat. It's pure, striated, functional muscle. I power-bodybuild daily at Powerhouse Gym in Syosset, NY, every morning, 365 days a year, from 7 to 9 AM, like clockwork. C'mon down, stop at the desk and ask for V, and then you can correct your Bizarro assumptions, you fucking mule

  • @Virtuosic1 Oh, the gym on 235 Robbins Ln? Also, it's time to get a new insult. You use "fucking mule" so much it really doesn't have meaning. I think you used it twice in this video already. Man, I really get a kick out of psychotic people like you. Look at your long response, trying to justify your corpulence. hahahahaha PATHETIC!

  • @TwelveToneRow Yes. Glad you could figure out the address, whcih is why I gave you the location. When are you coming? If you think you get a kick out of me here, you should see how many kicks you'd get facing me in the ring to play for blood.

  • @TwelveToneRow If THAT'S YOU in that ridiculous picture, you've got far more problems than I could ever visit upon you in a ring. Any re-arranging of you physically would be a fucking improvement. Do you enjoy being a mouse-shouldered, girly buttercup? Why don't you cut that fucking Kenny G. witch-like hairdo and hit the gym a few times per week? What do you have against transforming yourself from THAT fucking shit into a man? You're young enough. You don't really have to STAY that way, wuss.

  • @Virtuosic1 YAWWWN. Ad hominem, ad hominem, ad hominem. Is that all you've got? Does it make you feel like a big man when you insult people? Does it take away the pain you feel about yourself? Does anyone love you? How exactly were you abused as a child? Physically? Sexually? All of the above? Isn't it time you focused on what brings you true joy in life? You are truly a sad, corpulent, closet-case homosexual LITTLE man who will forever be alone. You don't really have to STAY that way, though!

  • @TwelveToneRow When are you coming, you fucking wuss? You haven't addressed that yet, you scrawny fag. Tell you what. I'll wager $5000 against $1 of yours that if we stand face to face in the ring, and I spit in your fucking weasel face, you STILL won't throw a punch. Do we have a wager, and when are you coming, prag?

  • @TwelveToneRow What brings me true joy in life is putting mouse-shouldered cocksuckers with delusions of grandeur, like you, in your places. ESPECIALLY in person. Why don't you come down to Powerhouse and test your theory about my being a "corpulent, little closet-fag". No interest in talking your smack to my face, right, you fucking queer?

  • @Virtuosic1 Tu quoque, my friend. I haven't addressed your proposition just as you haven't addressed my questions about your past. Clearly you have suffered through a litany of abuse, given your attitude towards people you don't know. People tend to despise and denounce that which most resembles and exposes their own self loathing. This holds very true to you, sir. And a little tip: appointing your heterosexist ideologies won't make you seem "heterosexual." Poor little man!

  • @TwelveToneRow I'm not your friend, and if you were standing right in front of me, I'd hawk one right in your face to convince you of that. That would be a good test to see if you're a wuss who would stand up for yourself or what I strongly suspect by looking at your picture, Alexis.

  • @Virtuosic1 Alexis? WHAT? hahahahaha. And I'm sorry you don't register sarcasm, my sad, little "friend." Please do not cease committing your most deranged, vapid, low-class logical fallacies; it is most entertaining! You should be assessed in a controlled experiment by psychotherapists. Maybe a longitudinal study?

  • @TwelveToneRow I'm still waiting for you to tell me when you may grow a pair of balls and play for blood. But that would never happen that you would actually stand up for yourself in person, would it, Wimpy?

  • @TwelveToneRow You look as though your neck would break with really very little effort. I'd be willing to wager $25,000 against $1.00 of yours that if we square off and you throw a punch, I can counter with a blow to your face not only hard enough to shatter your mandible, but also hard enough to pop your C-3 to C-7 cranial veterbrae in such a way that you'd never be able to fully move your facial muscles ever again, let alone blow a horn or suck a cock, your favorite pastime.

  • @TwelveToneRow If I were a closet case, I'm sure we would have already bumped into each other.

  • @TwelveToneRow And believe me, I have no self-loathing. I'm actually selfless enough to come here and put dumb, hapless scumbags like yourself, in their respective places. Keep you all honest, if you will. Isn't that awful nice of me?

  • @Virtuosic1 if you don't like it, why bother listening? Do you purposely go on vids you hate to start fights?

  • @Poet2916 Do you actually imagine this a fight? The majority of youtube posters trying to fight me would be akin to ants mounting an assault on an anteater.

  • Now this is what's called epic.

  • their outfits are so cute! their voices are great together! god, i need to meet barbra soon.

  • Happy Birthday Judy! ~Erin

  • Sublime.

  • More talent on display here in less than five minutes than on all of the "American Idol" shows put together.

  • @libearian you got that right!

  • You can't find musical stars like that anymore! Very Fabulous.

  • Comment removed

  • Barbara Streisand is so sweet, young and charming here, it must have been amazing to share the same stage with Judy Garland. (she looks so happy) It really doesn't get better than this does it?

  • to be able to say "i sang with Judy" would make me the happiest man there ever was.

  • There are no words ♥

  • Barbra played in that TV show the Virginin. Was only time I saw her.

  • Judy is sooo tiny. ♥

  • @StreisandLove prescription drugs!

  • What a wonderful hand off of the torch--and I love the way they work so well together-professionals all the way. Two different but related styles beautifully paired. How encouraging.

  • Their voices sound great together!

  • Ahh, remember when singers ACTUALLY sang? Love Judy and Barbra! <3

  • Look at the sheer joy on Judy's face when she's listening to Barbra sing By Myself from 1:14!

  • :)

  • i'm italian...this is shocking...we had some great voices like Mina,Mia martini,Milva,Rita Pavone,Iva Zanicchi,Patty Pravo,Marcella.....
