She has been a prodigy since she was extremely young, even through her family's hardship. She's a great actor, has a wonderful voice, and also acts as an amazing film producer and director. I was never a big fan of Barbara's type of music (aside from her work with Judy) but I recognize that she is an icon of several generations. That's why Barbara is amazing.

They were low budget, couldn't afford makeup, so they chose Barbra and Liza to play the monsters, au naturale', no makeup, no appliances, they just did alot of closeups, pretty fucking horryifying if you ask me, but not quite scary enough to scare the bejesus out of japanese audiences. Hence, it flopped.
