  • Eww

  • DEAR LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THAT IS A WORM.

Its a marine worm, a polychaete and as has been suggested probably a nereid- it could be a sandworm (kig rags get impressively large) but it could just as easily be Hediste diversicolor or any number of species.

p.s. those arent legs theyre parapodia- projections used for movement through soft sediment and to an extent swimming.

  • its a Sandworm, or "Nereis virens" if you will..

  • u guys r dumb its a sea centipede they live near the short underneath sand u dimwits

  • it's a type of polychaete worm

  • its a sea-ntepede

  • its a freakin sea millipead i think

  • actually it's a polychate worm or maybe a sea centipede but yeah close enough

  • Yes -it's a rag worm - good bait for sea fishing - you can dig them up at low tide. They can give you a nasty bite with their powerful pincer like sharp teeth. I don't like using them cos they wriggle like mad when you put em on the hook - and worms that bite are freaky..
