Why is everyone saying that Guns and Bows are for noobs or they suck or whatever!? Monster Hunter is all about what weapon is best for you and how your experience work. You should be thankful for this guy (mazereon) and he is absulutling a best hunter too! So is everyone else! If you're a noob DON'T WORRY JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND PRACTICE HUNTING. That is all you need to do.

@McDingos Thanks bro, but it's all about experience. If you'd used guns as much as I had and killed as many Tigrex you probably could do this too.

@MoonlightXIII You will have less attack power, but the Tigrexes at your rank also have less health :) The tactics will be identical with a low rank gun, it'll just take a little longer.

I'm just trying to find the best way to clear the Devil blos quest. I've tried that quest about 50-60 times... So i'm gonna try and get familiar with bowguns :)

I've actually got three Devil Blos videos that might help you. If you have a look in my Bowgun Compendium FAQ (google it if you like) it's got a great Pellet set for High rank that'll let you brutalise that Blos with simplicity :)

Thunder S guns will work great. I just didn't use them here because they have smaller clip sizes. So either go for a a Thunder S rapid fire gun or a good Normal 2 one. GL dude.

Nope - the back legs take the same shot damage as the head, and this way I can trip it over :)

I didn't miss that many, but don't forget Felyne Temper gives you a small attack boost but makes your shots drift off course.
