At these levels its way too easy when I attempted to kill Ragu Ragula as low as level 65 I couldn't even reach the "impulse bomber' stage of the fight before it killed everybody at once.

But between it and Angol Moa I find 7th Moon way harder to survive since at level 65 Lilika won't survive the 6000+ damage it causes with FULL HP.

But at level 99 Lilka may not survive 7th Moon either.

I finished the first one a couple of weeks ago and to be honest I really got bored towards the end (to a point where it felt painful playing even for just an hour - it was still cool though). So I was curious about WA2 cause I kinda bought it without giving it much thoughts on the PSN. It seems to have better graphics and storyline (and battle songs haha). Gotta try it out !

@Jonnycastaway32 If you have the money to waste, go stay at the Meria Inn and keep checking the luck of the character(s) you want at Best luck (for this battle I'd highly recommend Marivel, Lilka, and one other character at Best luck...Marivel for Sleep, Lilka for Slowdown [which DOES work], and the other character for another Slowdown spell (Crest Cap), because if Slow Down hits twice, your entire party will be faster than him.

Either that or find Tiny Flowers (steal from enemies).

@Jonnycastaway32 Neither, they raise your luck up so spells like Sleep and Slowdown can "hit" better (and so Kanon can learn her Bionic Arm attacks faster)

@OverlordQuasar I beat Ragu and Angolmois with my entire party at level 60. What helped me was getting the armors from Glaive le Gable (for everyone but Marivel) and (I think) Promised Catacombs (for Marivel), but I may be wrong on that last location. Also, beating the other pyramid bosses for everyone's weapons helps a LOT, Slowdown helps (stick it on a Crest Cap), Speed Down helps if you have the Dan Dairam medium (Promised Catacombs), Sleep helps...good luck if you ever pick it up again =)

Max out ur character's levels. Try powerleveling on some hyulkontons. It's easy. XD

@DhonnEmrys Level 60 minimum with a good Personal Skills setup. HP Up, Restore HP, Up Parameters, the P and M Attack and Defend skills for the obvious people, etc. That's how I did it =) (Oh, and lots of Sleep spells and Slowdown spells as well)

Compared to the later games it was a masterpiece. WA2 was only a disappointment because WA1 was so good; it's still a solid game. When looking at sheer fun factor, WA1 was the second-best PS1 RPG after Chrono Cross.

I haven't beaten this fella yet. He's pretty cheap, I'll give him that.

It seems like you can kind of semi-control what he does if you buff up, so he'll use Void Effect more often. Also his first two attacks are plainly scripted (1 Trillion Degrees into Black Nova). I haven't tried sleep-killing him yet...maybe as a last resort. The one thing I really hate is that you can't change Ashley's ring when he's in Access Mode.

Sad thing is -- it seems Angol Moa is even harder than this guy. :/

I lost constantly even when putting it to sleep and even if I had sleep work for 5 turns I still didn't drain even 50% of his HP when it woke up.

While Fire/Dark rings do help it does no good if you equip 1 of the 2 but it uses the wrong elemental move.

IE you equipped fire rings on all but it decided to use Dark Nova for 6000+ damage instead resulting in a instant game over for me.

Access can't be missed as soon as you fight Trask solo with Rudy in that 1 prison dungeon (at the entrance of the area) is when the game forces you to use it.

Using a credit card you purchase points and then use said points to buy the games. Its a stupid process because they win out. If you buy 10 bucks worth of credits and the game costs 9.99 there's a surplus of 1 cent which isn't much to us but for every 100 people who do that they make a dollar. Now think how many millions around the world have PS3s and use the PSN. So, its simple and we don't get ripped off, its just stupid to do it that way rather than charging a card directly but hey, money.

Make sure you have the best equipment, and maxed out the Magic Defense PS. Lilka can still die from 1 Trillion Degrees, so equip her with a Fire Ring. She can survive Black Nova without a ring, but just barely.

what emulator do you use for this? I use PSXFIN, and wild arms never works for me, after the game logo and etc, it shows a big red circle with a line through it and it's all scrambly. I tried playing it with the actual CD, and a rom, and it doesn't work. ;(
