I have a Raptor 90SE, as shown in this video. It's worth over $2000. This video just makes me want to cry. Looks like his controller hit some interference and he lost all control. How horrible.
He was looking pretty good there for a bit. Bostonheli said it, though. Needs a kill switch. Either that or failsafe set to cut the throttle, so when things go wrong, just turn off the transmitter.

I dont think he had any control over it. I crashed this summer where my battery came disconnected. FS wont work in that case. Throttle hold wont work. NOthing does. The servos keep their last positions. The only thing I could do was to pull the fuel line.

When the bird hit the deck, the Rx battery was ejected. Hitting the idle up would have done nothing.
