@rastagna I played WoW. I play LoTRO. They seem pretty equal overall, and lotro has a better f2p option. I just play Lotro because I like Middle-Earth better than Azaroth. Lets face it: these games are equal.

@Supersomonerandom I'v played both games (WoW for 6 Years and Lotro for 1 year) and I can easily say Lotro is much funner. Even though the game is PvE based, the PvP (PvMP) in the game is more balanced then the PvP system in WoW.

I play both games and think the water looks OK in both but if I had to pick I'd say Lotro's looks better for sure.

Btw, in THIS comparison, WoW water wins hands down. Lotro water is static and looks like two layers on top of eachother. No movement in the water either. I know lotro can have better water, in terms of the water moving and interacting with the player, but that's only with dx11 I assume? Kinda strange, if that's so, seeing in how dx9 water in Age of Conan and WoW looks much better then dx11 water in Lotro.

@AleXy86 the lotro is static because of the computer it's running on because me and my friends put it on the highest detail level, and it is not static. Try lowering the detail level if you must.

WoW has the better gameplay to my opinion, which i mean like combat and movement with characters, the lore is only good when you read the story from Warcraft series, i say WoW should tell their story in-game, like LotRO does, Lotro is way better in Graphics and storytelling, they are equal to me. both having bad things and good things.

@ecomensurado Im not no fan boy and i played LOTRO till it went F2P but if a game goes F2P it means its down on its luck and its failing pretty hard so obviously LOTRO is not better than WoW because WoW is the top MMO on the market and WoW is a 6 or 7 year old engine its running on LOTRO is more recent of course it has better graphics they cant add water that looks super amazing and realistic im sure they could have done better but hey atleast they updated the old crappy water so... just saying

The water in WoW has definitely improved, but it looks too much like plastic i guess you could say, but running/swimming around in it looks good
