Wow I've been trying to identify this song, that I once heard on the radio in my dad's car when I was little, for the best part of 20 years. I once bought a copy of a similarly named Boney M track thinking it was that. But finally I have the answer.
Singer is Mike D'abo. He replaced Paul jones in summer 1966. Guitarist Tom Mc Guinness had a major hit " When I'm dead and gone " 1971. And bassman Klaus Voormann designed Beatles Cover Revolver and Bee Gees first LP. My name is jack climbed to Nr. 8 in 6. July 1968 in the UK charts.
This song brings me back to my childhood. I loved this song when I was 4 years old!
Thanks for the upload!!

One of my favorite Manfred Mann records, and a great John Simon song!

Is it Paul or Mike d'abo? I have read that mike replaced Paul 66 or 67 but i think this singer both looks and sound like Paul and this year is 1968?

Is Wiggy Sankt Helens the arena? Is it the place? I have seen it on all your Top of the Pops videos.
