i've just bought a 1991 Defender 110 SW...bought it from a guy who spent 9000 quid on it refurbishing it top to bottom...cost me 7000quid...bargain of a lifetime...i think ill never need a new car in my life now, this thing will outlast me

the guy bought it from the local constabulary, the dog unit...so it was well looked after already...he spent the money on doing it up...replaced everything he could with brand new bitts for the 2007 model...told me the wife will kill him so he had to get rid of it as fast as possible, lucky me :D

actualy im a bit of a coward when it comes to taking it offroad :D

i like the confidence that it can do it, if there's ever an apocalypse, but i want to keep it for as long as i live so im taking it easy with it :D

they dont like to see you go offroad in oxfordshire anyway, had some angry foresters knock on my door once :D

but yea, it has BFG MT tyres so it ought to handle the odd gravel driveway :D kidding

but realy im just pretending to know what im talking about...i've had it for 2 weeks now and its my first landi...so i just popped my 4x4 cherry, hopefully i wont be the first man in history to break one of these :D
