if you wanna get your pinky stronger stay away from bad 3 finger "guitar heros" like jimmy page. for ex if its 5-7-8 use your pinky on 8 dont just use your first 3 fingers.
push-ups...pinky finger push-ups...and hamsters. lol jk practice practice practice, and maybe a little guitar hero w/ the pinky going from blue to orange button
hey this is fucking awesome!! 5/5 how long did it take you to learn sweep picking? one question i'm getting really frustrated with my sweep picking when i ever i try to do it i'm unable to synchronize my left hand as well as my right hand to be the same. i end of picking the strings in a singularly fashion. Any tips?
hey i had the same problem for like 2-3 months but i realized i should just take it really slow, and you have to really relax your picking hand, its actually easier than you think just dont think about it so hard, actually dont think about it at all
good job man, really loved it! It's actually about 7:40 in Canada, and I've been practcing the first pattern for like half an hour, and I got till about 10 o'clock! I hope I'll be able to play it decently by tomorrow! 5/5 btw!
Hello. Maybe you could help me. I am looking for some advices about muting other strings while playing arpeggios. Does right hand is very important here? Which finger of left hand exacly is responsible for muting? Or maybe all fingers, just the way of pressing each note? So called 'technique' :-P Omg Im stupid.
I have a big problem with that. Could you help me?
A combination of using both hands is the best. The best way I think to do it, is to palm mute the string after you hit the note. Also, on your left hand, make sure you lift your finger off the fretted note. Then that will stop the note obviously. But sometimes the open string will ring out so use your palm to mute that! I hope that helps!

Keep your index, middle and ring finger fretted while trilling only on your pinky

@JohnRollos I have played bass for a little longer than guitar and you use the pinky ALOT on bass, it helped me alot for guitar.
