I was very interested to hear Valerie Preston Dunlop talk about Laban's intention of creating a Sacred form that worked on the dancer, as opposed to the secondary affect on the audience.
I had understood his work was more about the analysis of movement to a a utilitarian end, of more creative choreography and work place efficiency. Thank you for enlightening me with this great video extract. I can't help thinking he was creating a Tai Chi Chuan form without knowing of it's existence.
thanks for this - where can I get hold of a copy?
Thank you
Mark
