I love how JJ Abrams makes films that you either LOVE or hate. For example, "Super 8", "Cloverfield", and the new "Star Trek". I loved all of those films and they may fall somewhere in my top 25 of all time (which is pretty damn good considering how many films that I have watched) So if one of my friends says that they hate the next JJ Abrams film, I will know that I must get a movie ticket for it right away.

@lovelydiva06 Well the fact that you think Transformers isn't garbage is your opinion, not fact ;) I believe there is no right or wrong in an individual's personal review of a movie, but technically (in terms of pacing, storytelling, characters, etc) Transformers 3 is not a good movie. Effects-wise yes, but everything else is pretty much left out. Shame, because I liked the first one :)

I just saw the movie and I thought it was pretty bad. I mean, the kids were funny, especially charles (the director kid) and it was suspenseful up until you saw the actual monster, then the film just fell apart. *SPOILER* I mean, the main kid (forget his name) when he gets picked up by the beast and theyre face to face with dramatic piano music playing in the backround? are you kidding me? corny as shit... 4/10 in my opinion, and don't hate me because I disliked a movie you loved.

@bjwiebe123 Fair enough :) I'm really looking forward to it, hope it will be focused on the children, less on the monster, and I'm glad there is some cheesy-ness in there - Typical of Spielberg's classic blockbusters :) As I always say, no film is perfect in everybody's eyes, there will always be people who love and loath a film.
