A battery, 'magnetic reed switch' and bulb, the reed switch's state changes when you pass a magnetic by it, on, then off.

great layout. I didnt have room in my condo for a layout, so i install near the ceiling of my livingroom. The turns are wide allow fast speed. This baby fly without derailing. There are safety rail that prevent trains from falling to the floor. See my video.
