well i just got out of a can-am renegade forum, and all of the guys there said that with an exhaust, filter, and programmer, their bikes will run 76-78 mph. the guys with stock quads said around 71, 72, 73mph. like i said, show me a vid of a renegade doing 100mph. AND...i need someone to show me a removable rev limiter. this one is for all you guys who said that you "took the rev limiter off" of your can-am or grizzly.

Me and my buddy tested our Quads with a Radar gun. My 08 Renegade tops out at 69mph...the New Artic Cat 1000 my buddy just purchased tops out at 72mph. And this is all done with a Radar Gun so its exact speed.

And both our speedo's state we are going faster. The speedometers are out by about 6MPH on both machines.

Oh its worth it. 10 grand is an understatment for that ATV as well. All in All the 800 BRP (can-am) comes in at about 15000 or more with skid-plates. Totally worth it tho, 800cc EFI, owned every atv out there in every respect. This thing has so much technology in it, do some research, its awesome.

2) 08 griz came out after the renegade

3) renegade is lighter and has a higher cc engine and output, which makes is a faster atv...which is awesome for BC forestry roads, renegade and 800 outlander easily go 100mph

the only really great thing about the griz is the power stearing, thats an industry first. Both are very respectable machines in their own classes

Yes you are right, but the Grizz tops out at 75 mph (thats pretty damn good for a utility) and the Grizz is one of the most powerful on the market, but yest the renegade 800 is one of the best ATVs ever, and one more thing my friend has the renegade 800 x and his tops out at about a 100.

75 is alright for the average utility....though the utility 800 outlander, tops out at just over 100...thats the most powerfull utility atv out there. The only downside to the outlander, is that sometimes in certain conditions, it has TOO much power.
