WOW! I'm so suprised at the comments on this page! I'm going to Peru this April (2010) and I am travelling afterwards around Sth America & maybe Central America.

A few people are enthusiastic about going to Colombia but I only knew bad things, and after more research, it's now one of the places I most want to go! I would be absolutely grateful if anyone could give me any advice or facts about Colombia that would be helpful :)

And hopefully I can get there in July! :)

What happen with Las Lajas Sanctuary, Santa Cruz de mompox, Villa de Leiva, Darrien Jungle that covers 25% of the Colombian jungle, The Colombian Plains, the tens of Natural Parks Colombia has, Malpelo Island, Cabo de La Vela (It's so beautiful) what happened!!! That video lacks on information.
