I almost instinctively cringe at most of the music that gets thrown into the 'post rock' category these days - way too much noodling pretentiousness and melodramatic dynamics (ooh let's start of really quiet and then get really loud - repeat ad nauseum).

Mogwai on the other hand, are simply in a class of their own. Can't wait for 'Burning' to come out.
