I've done what you did at the beginning of the video but I don't get the "WIfi Settings" options. I've tried both version 0.9.6 and 0.9.7 but I don't get them on neither one of them. Please help

oye debes poner las extensiones del bios a bin para eso debes ir al panel de control y le das en apariencia y tema y le das en opciones de carpeta y quitas lo de ocultar las extenciones de los archivos luego a los bios les cambias el nombre a bios.bin

i'm also getting this problem. i'm sharing my internet connection with some other PCs (i'm connecting in my cousin's net cafe). i also tried connecting when all other PCs aside from the one I'm using are off but I'm still getting this error :(

Well I just run desmume as administrator. go back into the wifi settings and changed the infrastructure to the one opposite of microsoft (your systems wifi card) and it should work after that. Though i use windows 7 thats how i fixed my error code problem.

its one of three things:

1.you are not using a wired internet connection*

2.your firewall is up

3.you have extra networks enabled

*from what i have seen you MUST have this

@aj536stun it depends on what windows you have, for me (i have xp) i go to the start menu, control panel, network and internet connections, and its near the bottom (it says firewall settings) i searched it on google.

@67smiggles i have only one network that is enabled and that is the one i'm using now. i don't have any other extra networks listed here except for the one i use. i'm using a wired connection and i don't think my firewall is up. please help me. thanks. :D
