His phrasing in this is amazing--long, sweeping lines with notes held over into the next phrase, which makes the song more lyrical and increases the emotional impact. And of course, his pure, sweet baritone, his diction and his entonation are all flawless. One of his best performances IMHO.

@blamelessss I *love* it the way it is. To me this is a very very sad and very beautiful song. The singer is supposed to be singing to someone who is so sad and couldn't go on any longer. Singing this song smilingly would seem condescending.
