Anyone know anything about CSX paint schemes-- noticing lead engine had dark blue "CSX" on light blue background and yellow highlights; 2nd unit different with gold letters etc on a primarily dark blue engine. Is this just an "age thing" (one being a newer paint scheme)??? Just wondering if anyone knows! Looking forward to your videos-to-come, BJ!!
Well, that explains a lot-- I had read a while ago where someone said something about a "Dark Future Engine" (on CSX), and I thought "WTF?", didn't have ANY idea they were talking about the paint scheme. That certainly is good to know... THANK YOU!!!

Dark blue with a gold nose is the current paint scheme.

They call the scheme on the 1st engine the "Bright Future" scheme (old) and the scheme on the 2nd engine the "Dark Future" (new) scheme.
