I have to disagree with your choice of words saying that this is the best "Fighting" game, it's a "smash-em-up" game.

Fighting games are games like Marvel Vs Capcom/MvC2/MvC3/uMvC3 (which the latter just came out today), Street Fighter, Soul Caliber, Mortal Kombat...etc.

These games require actual technique and combo mastering, whileas the Super Smash Bros. series has always seem like a more relaxed "Just mash A and B a few times" game.

Not saying Smash Bros is bad; don't get me wrong.

yh i tihnk that's what the downside is. Too much stuff. It takes up 120 blocks on the wii and a normal game takes up 1. I know a friend who has this game and lost all of his memory on the wii because of it. The nintendo website says that it is a double disc so could delete ur memory...

@usit2oops idk if some1 answered your prob but oh well, not many ppl play online brawl with strangers they preffer 2 add ppl so ppl mostly play it with ppl they added via friend codes and such, other times the connection is not good enough 2 play online with random ppl, so my advice is that you look for ppl that is giving their friend codes of brawl, add them and then play like crazy!!...just a lil advice...

@pavelelchinocorro actually, they do that, besides for other reasons, to avoid lags that online play has, such as pressing the A button, for example, even though the move is done about 2 - 3 secs after, what makes playing/hitting the enemies more difficult

I got Melee for the gc in 2002 and consistently played it with my two brothers until brawl came out. We got brawl the day it came out and we think melee was better. Brawl felt a bit more floaty and the adventure mode got 1 play-through and we left it at that. It's still a great game and we still play it. Oh, and smash balls were a dumb idea.

@Kavalec199 It's not that I think the original is a bad game, I just feel that it's very limited, especially when compared to Brawl and Melee. Brawl seems to have 10 times more to do than this game and twice as much as Melee. I find it both funny and sad that in Melee you start out with more characters than the original has in total. I also find the N64 controller to be poorly designed with the control stick being in the center and that long part sticking out in the middle. Just my opinion

I agree completely with you. I absolutely love brawl, but yes, the online option sometimes was very annoying. I enjoy just fighting some stranger and they're so much better than me, so I learn a lot. But sometimes the game slowed down and I saw my oponents come to me in slow-motion and I wanted to dodge them, but my character didn't respond quick enough... that was very annoying. But apart from that, this game rocks!

The company that makes this game is probably one of my favorite games ever. I loved Kirby 64, and I still play Kirby Air Ride today, and don't forget this game! Seriously, I wish I remembered the name, I just remember the weird puppy with the babies in the nest as it's logo, and all these great games.

I agree. I have used up more hours on this game than any other game for Wii.

And the best part is, the gameplay is as simple as pressing A or B. Most people want some complex fighting game, but this is just the opposite, yet more fun than any other fighting game I've played.

I used the Gamecube controller when I first played this game because it has the same controls as Melee which is very nice, but now I use the Wii remote & Nunchuck It takes some getting use to, but I eventually got the hang of it pretty quick.

@legolevi999 if you have friends SSBB fun and replayable the storyline is very weak and predictable.it's also can get quiet heated in fights.lots of competition.

LoZ TP is just fun to play the storyline and other achievements.very good and puzzling quiet a challenge but it's not extremely hard.a challenge to the average gamer
