Low Budget Voice Over Tips

Totally priceless. Until recently, I worked in video dating back to the demise of 16mm motion picture camera days- pre-VHS... yet my audio experience is nearly ZIP (long story).

This is really worthy stuff!

Trying to get back on my horse, and just generate something for fun, is most difficult. But it's stuff like this that really helps visualize the end product, even though you are talking about the audio end of things. All good.

Yes, my Powerbook is at the Apple store now having a fan replaced. Having the Genius bar is a really nice feature IF you live near a store.

@DeathToAllHamsters Adobe Premiere Pro, sometimes After Effects when I feel like being fancy. I tried Win Movie Maker on a friends computer, nearly shot myself.

@DeathToAllHamsters I started out on a Mac, but they are just to expensive. Bought a HP Envy with nearly twice the power as a MBP, for half the price of one.

@DeathToAllHamsters One great thing about a Mac is the customer service they offer. I can't just go to a HP store and say, "Fix this." But if you live near a Apple store that is a pretty awesome service to have.
