Hello. I have a 1991 GTA and it sometimes will not crank over, does not even make a sound. All the electrics work but there is nothing from the starter motor. It does not do this all the time, just sometimes, but it is a real headache when it does this. what can this be? bad gear selector switch? ignition switch? any ideas would be really appreciated. Thank you.

sounds like your starter has gotten heat soaked....does it do this after you have been driving the car for a while then try to turn it back on while its still hot?...if so you need a new starter...next time it does it try hitting the started with a hammer or something like that while someone tries cranking the car

I almost bought one of these about 10 years ago. Luckily the kid wasnt home when i called and his mom had the good sense to tell me how much he beats the shit out of it :). The 20th anniversary 3.8T did 0-60 in 4.5 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All those F bodies need are subframe connectors because all the body flex :(
