On the 1 hand, I'm glad that Pete's identity isn't public anymore, thatt he is out of the Avengers and the Black Suit. But I hate OMD with everything I've got and I think practacally everyone else does as well; and they could have found another way 2 do those things. B) "He dumped Gwen for MJ . . . led to Gwen's death". He did not. He was still in love with Gwen. Her death at the hands of Green Goblin brought MJ and Peter closer as MJ tried to ease Peter's pain. At that time is when she realised she wasn't just after his affection. She truly loved him. And Gwen's death brought a solid tone down on MJ, helping her to grow out of her party girl persona and finally start acting more serious.

Since they are all too busy fussing over a fictional character and his future, I'll fill you in even though this is 2 months old.

Aunt May was shot and near certain death(OMG, wasn't she killed off before already) and the Devil(Mephisto) made them a deal. He would take their love and marriage and most of thier history together in exchange for exending Aunt May's life. They agreed but only if Mephisto also took back Peter revealing to the world that he was also Spider-Man.

This is what really gets me pissed is the whole dumping 20 years of comic history. Folks like you and myself have been around for it, most here have not.
