Holy Gawd.....First time i ever saw this song live....as a bass player, i always asumed that D'Arcy was chording at the end of the song, but she is singularly hitting strings with her thumb.....I love her...Actually, this song made me (in conjunction with all of Cliff Burton's shit) want to play bass, and especially to learn to chord a bass. She is a master of her craft, and Siamese Dreams is THE best album of the 80's.

All smashing pumpkins albums are PHENOMENAL except Zeitgeist in my opinion, and corgan is a genious. Their b-sides, demos, rare stuff is even more amazing.. I suggest you get all their not mainstream stuff, you'll be blown away.

Mellon Collie can be simply passed off as a hardrock album with bad lyrics. Alot of songs sound like filler, most songs are confinde with typical structures and sing along pop chorus, it lacks the warmth, soul and musical underground/indie jam sound of the previous two albums. It's just a decent set of tunes with good guitar work.

Adore was a good album, but it's biggest flaw is that it just reminds us Billy isn't a stoner/outsider in his twenty's anymore but a grown man facing the struggles of life. Dude, you're an idiot. Firstly, Adore has no more an "electronic" sound than MCIS. It uses drum sequencing and sampling, so what. It's a very intimate, subtle album. Not cold, and definately not "small." Listen to "For Martha" or "Tear." "Perfect" alone has countless layers to it and it was a single. And Machina, not ever close to being accessible. "And she counted the spiders as the crawled up inside her" is accessible? Machina was a grandiose, dense concept album. You're a fool.
