The young boy that says Three peas is actually Brian Henson. He took over everything when his dad died. The lady and the little girl with the three pigs are actually Jim's wife and daughter. Of course that's Jim Henson is the guy that starts it all off. I love the comment about boy saying three peas was a bit slow. I think his dad thought he did OK- Ha Ha
I deleted it because I now have a better copy. The sound and picture are an improvement over the other one. Check out my youtube home page and you'll see it right there. You could also type in "Sesame Street baker six" for the tags to find it.
Happy Birthday, Ground. lol
By the way, the Three Peas Kid, as well as the kid who counts the coins and ping pong balls in the other ones, is Brian Henson, Jim's son.

When I was a kid, every time we had peas my brother would put three on his plate and say "THREE PEAS!" Always cracked me up.

Spilling a whole group of desserts is not wanted when for real.
For spilling a whole group of desserts, as long as it's 100% fake, falling down the stairs is not wanted when in real life.
The best thing for America to do is to use drop zones plus "Family Feud" mushroom-style buzzers.

I would vote up the highest rated comment right now, but it has exactly three thumbs up.

It takes the "Three Peas..." kid three full seconds to blurt out his line.
donsarahbanks 2 years ago 4
I know. The kid obviously didn't stay up late the night before to practice his lines. ;-)

When I was little the baker (I referred to him as "The Man Who Falls Down") falling scared me so bad I'd leave the room when this came on.
MattShizzle 2 years ago
The baker is supposedly the dude inside of Big Bird (with Jim Henson's voice overdubbed)
sfchris 2 years ago
Actually, that is false. The guy inside Big Bird is Carroll Spinney and the guy falling down the stairs is definitely not he.
mstatz 2 years ago
you're right is is actually Frank Oz, voice of Ernie and Kermit the frog
greatestmoviemoments 2 years ago
The baker is not Frank Oz. Oz is also NOT the voice of Ernie and Kermit, Jim Henson is! Frank Oz does the voices of Bert, Grover and Cookie Monster.

Welcome to a clip from the FIRST episode of Sesame Street! :-D
Not only is the juggler Jim Henson, but the boy with 3 peas is his son Brian, now the caretaker of the muppets! My, how he has grown!

You wonder how many takes it took to get the baker sequences just right. I have a feeling a lot of perfectly good treats went to waste.

How did you find that out?

Noggin showed Sesame Street #1 before.

Those crocs shock the hell out of me even today, 30 or so years later.

The Juggler in this video is the one and only Jim Henson the genius muppet creator himself.
