Fahrtechnisch sehr sympathisch: Da ist jemand an Lenkrad und Gaspedal, der weiss was er tut und Spass haben möchte - und genauso sieht das auch aus. Sehr kontrolliert. Cool! ;))

Yes, there are snow tires on, here it´s law to have snow tires in winter, nonetheless i have tried it some time ago with summer tires, but the is no way to get up a hill..

Yes, studded tires are forbidden in germany since the 70s with the arguementation that they damage the street to much, in austria they are forbidden from June to September

For the record, STUDDED tires are illegal in the US, while many Northerners ellect to use snow tires.

The vid. poster mentioned it was required to have winter/snow tires on your car in this area he was recording. Sections in Canada are the only other area in the world I am aware snow tires are required in winter conditions. I went on to add, separately, that I was suprised to hear studded tires are banned in Germany. Studded tires are not illegal in the US. Each state's law varies.

@1984AP studded tyres are not the same as winter/snow tyres. Winter tyres are required by law during the winter months in the Alps and some parts of germany, and all of Austria I believe.

@1984AP If you come to norway, Studded tires are mostly encouraged throughout the country except for the major cities, where you have to pay a mini-fee for each day you use them, to pay for the repairs. (30NOK, or 4EUR'ish)

Outside the cities, it's mostly just plowed down to the asphalt, occasionally also used salt to keep it clean, making proper snow-tires a must.

Grosses Kompliment. Du weisst wie man fährt, machst keinen Krawall mit grossen (und langsamen) Driftwinkeln, sondern zeigst ganz pur, wie schön es sein kann mit einem heckgetriebenen Strassenauto auf Schnee gepflegten Spass zu haben.

naja geht eigentlich noch mit dem Schneefall. Extrem wirds aus meiner Sicht erst wenn man Nebelscheinwerfer ausschalten muss dass man die Straße wieder sieht.

Reminds me of a road called 'snake pass' leading out of Sheffield, UK, except single track. I drove down there in my 4x4 mondeo several times in heavy snow last year... Even though I know it and my car back to front, you can drive better than me in a twitchy rwd! You have got some really good skills there my friend :)

ABS failed, happens sometimes while drifting??!! it´s highly surprising while breaking "oh nooo, why i am sliding!!!!" :-)
