Yeah I agree, composure is key, and hard to learn. I did a little backyard boxing before. And its easy to get scared . And when u get scared, your mind makes all the action speed up 3 times as fast and its even harder to see things coming much less plan an attack. It gets to be wild swinging which makes u more vulnerable.

If either of these guys would have kept their chin down and and keep their head on the other's chest during exchanges, it would have been a very short fight.

yeah thing is with amateurs, when they get hit, some panic, and some try to back away with their arms out front trying to push the other guy back.

i still panic somewhat, but i just take it, and keep the guard up. of course sum punches get in, and it hurts, but one of your best weapons is "composure"

if you panic, you wont be able to think ahead.

its one of my biggest flaws actually.

Don't waste punches and when you do punch, keep it much tighter. Windmilling vs. trained boxer= getting knocked the fuck out.

Tight punches vs. untrained boxer= you look alot cooler, even though your punches may still be a bit weak.

Shirtless guy had a lot of opportunities to put the shirted guy down with a good body shot, but didn't.
