@CtommyGo we kinda thought that too when the song came out, but I read an article at the time (in Strobe magazine, I still have the issue too) that led me to think differently. The interviewer kind of annoyed Maynard by asking him pointed questions about each of the tunes on Ænima, & in regards to this song he stated "my son's name is Devo H., that's all I'll say." Not sure if that's your typical "Tool joking w/the press" type of response, but the song always made sense to me after reading that.

Yeah... what everybody else said! It IS right on par with Tool, Maynard, AND Adam Jones. The stop-motion stuff is really his forte, and he's used a lot of it with Tool vids that were mostly his work.

I dont know the name of that bass player for tool but it is some of the best playing I have ever encountered in the 28 years I have been on earth. All the while that I have been shooting heroin and never managed to pick up an instrument. I always figured if I would be a part of a band that it would be as lead vocals. Either way it would kick so much ass to play and harmonize.
