@Dirtydita1 I'm 19 so i have some madonna experience and i have ALL of her music... Express youself sounds in no way similar to Born this way! The chord progression and the KEY and the same thats the only similarity, thats why people say it sounds the same... Just like people say biebers 'Mistltoe' sounds like Jason Mraz's 'i'm yours' because they're in the same key and chord progression. I'm a university music student so i know about music... The notes and melody of the songs are different.
If you're studying music and can't see the similarities in these two songs, I suggest you change majors... I can sing the chorus to "express yourself" to the instrumental chorus of "Born this way" in my sleep... If that's notproof of similarity, I don't know what is... Born this way is a total REDUCTION.... all the way through :-)

I don't think Madonna will have a very successful comeback because of her AGE, it's sad but it's true. But it doesn't matter because she ALREADY had success for more than 25 years. She constantly talks about how much she loves her fans and she definitely shows it through her actions.

The chord progression and the KEY and the same thats the only similarity, thats why people say it sounds the same... Just like people say biebers 'Mistltoe' sounds like Jason Mraz's 'i'm yours' because they're in the same key and chord progression. I'm a university music student so i know about music... The notes and melody of the songs are different.
