Gotta realize this guy is practicing his punches with a Muay Thai stance not a boxing stance. You can't go into Muay Thai with a boxing stance. The boxing stance is better for head movements but will get you killed with leg kicks, clinches, and knees. /watch?v=7l0hPDh6OlU

@H8lowlives apparently not if you watched Nate Diaz handle Donald Cerrone in UFC 141.....good muay thai vs good boxing. has nothing to do with stance, its just the fighters mindset and comfort zone

@jinmishima86 I'm talking from the standpoint of someone who does both Muay Thai and Boxing. Comparing two individuals of course introduces all kinds of other factors. But say when Somluck Kamsing does Boxing and when he does Muay Thai. He was good with both but the boxing stance allows better head movements while the Muay Thai stance allows more low kick protection, etc. Nate Diaz also doesn't take a traditional boxing stance. In MMA you have to be ready to lower your level.

@shar1ngaan Did you read your comment before posting? That "Shh" sound is something that any and all smart fighters do. Its to tense the midsection and conserves energy. And what do you mean he's afraid of the bag? I'ts purpose isn't to fly back and hit you in the face, he's using it the way he's supposed too.

I'm almost positive that he's trying to look as good as possible since he put up a video for public view, whether he fights this way or not, his head movement HERE at least looks off key. I can't even work a speedbag, but I've never been KO'd or TKO'd in a fight, but I'd also never put up a vid of me trying to work one if my movement wasn't tight;-)

Looking past all the racism on here, dude, when you punch the double end bag, head movement is a must. Most of the time, you're hitting the bag and it's coming right back to your face without you even moving. That would be a fist in real time. Just saying...otherwise, good speed.
