Try making an L and a Y sound at the same time saying Willy. Same thing basically. Or look at Krillen, often pronounced krirren or Kri-yen.

The finale was tight like the church battle when they say "Let's finish it!" And throw each other their own weapons. But fuck all mighty when Julia died. I died a little inside and a tear ran down my face. All that time he spent looking for his love. Pushed away the beautiful Faye Valentine just for his beloved. RIP Julia

@blackblurable I have to thank [Adult swim] for introducing me to anime when i was a kid. They stopped playing good animes and replaced them with shitty american shows. The last decent anime they played was Death Note... wich isnt saying much, it will never compare to Trigun & Cowboy bebop aka masterpeices.

@blackblurable I mean the actual quality of the frame. Not the content itself. Many of the scenes, and sadly many of the fights have sub-par animation compared to other scenes. More popular examples would be in DBZ or Naruto. You'll see moments of really detailed, fluid animation, then it will suddenly switch to some half assed, scene recycled mess.

Not really. For every good series there are at least a dozen horrid ones that make even the worst Western cartoon look phenomenal. When anime is good, it's REALLY DAMN GOOD. But when it's bad, and it normally is, it's better to just kill it with fire than to suffer through even a single episode.

Thankfully TRIGUN is one of the best series around, so no fire killing is needed here. xD

The reason people can only find bits and pieces of the English version is because there are only bits and pieces of it. The first verse was translated into English to fit the English Dub version better, so that's all there is to the English version. The full song only exists in Japanese.

this song reminds me a lot of the beatles when they made their transition into the psychedelic stage of music. Kind of like Tomorrow Never Knows... Anyways, this song is just stuck in my head even though this manga came out in 1994. The most comic, yet dark and serious manga I have ever had the pleasure to come across. Wish they came out with more to extend the storyline. This had more potential than other mangas such as bleach or naruto in my opinion

@niefali To be honest, the anime is a lot better than the manga. It's a very action-packed series, and things just aren't conveyed as well in the manga most times. It's not really any fault of the artist's, it's just a series that makes a much better transition to anime than most things.
