My church doesn't have like hymns and things like that.

They have a bass player, drum player, guitar player, keyboard player, the whole thing. They play heavier stuff, I'm sure there are a lot more churches like mine out there, maybe you could find one.

I think church is important to keep a connection with God fresh.

But, if you don't want to go to church, it's fine, but, I do think it would be better for everyone.

Well.

My church doesn't say that kind of thing.

If my pastor can't find solid scripture to backup what he says, he makes it very clear that he cannot, and that in not being able to, it is just his opinion (Or he just doesn't say it at all without scripture).

He preaches how Jesus helps you to heaven, not a ritual, but the other R word... Relationship (By the way, no one seeing this comment trash me for saying that because it's true).
