Mike Love cant play a SAX to save his life. The solo is an Alto Sax and hes holding a Tenor Sax. He was never any good. As a Sax player hes had a lesson or two at best, John M.
@Substitute421 he used to play with them all the time. he reals good friends with them. I think they wre also on Fullhouse as special guests a long time ago.
Wow, that's awesome! I wish I was friends with the Beach Boys hahaha. and I think I remember that episode too, thats why I was wondering if it was him.
@Substitute421 I had to be sure so i looked up John Stamos's wiki page and it does state that he did tour with the Beach Boys in 2010 and in the early years as a Drummer. Pretty cool.
@drummermaneleven Hahahah and not to sure how old you are but to me th 90s are the early years.....LMAO!!!! i was way too young in the 80s to care. lmao was busy worrying about who i was gonn aplay with the next day or some childish thing like that.
@Mileneum69 Hey, i was born in 1983 and only started school in 1989, but this was my absolute FAVORITE song above all others when I was little. I still love it to this day (I am now 27).
Look how young Tom Cruise was here, lol!! He's so cute in that movie "Cocktail" Is that Bruce Johnston performing with the group? I know he was a BB for a while..........
@tcrckinq97 Ha ha no sorry I just thought it seemed so ridiculous I just had to see it written in words......... I think he plays three notes (badly) but hey....it probably made him look more cool I hate to think how many extra chicks he bedded on the strength of it. He got away with murder without actually killing someone. I much admire Scott Page who IS one of the greatest ....look him up. (as for Mike Love ...LOCK him up )
@paisleygerry Ah.. that's what I thought. Anyhow, on another note, I sure miss Carl. He was so talented and really was a big part of their live shows. Of course, Brian (I know he did not write this song), was the talented writer and singer, but Carl on their live sets was amazing!
Ha ha ha - he is standing with a tenor sax and the solo is an alto sax solo. He PLAYS tenor sax, but he is not a good saxophone player.
