Can you tell me how to teach my dachshund to bring the ball back after he has retrieves it so we can play fetch? He loves to chase it, but then runs off with it and gets bored right away...won't bring it back to chase again.

Wow that was amazing. You and your dog have such a good understanding. My landlady just got a beagle puppy and she doesn't know the first thing about owning a dog, but since I'm just a tenant I can't really step in and educate her or her dog... Frustrating. Your method of Stay is new to me though, might have to try that. :-)

That was a great video, and teaching them young is probably the most important advice to give someone about owning a doggy.

Unlike humans, they don't learn many new things later in life. Gotta be dedicated to them like a human baby in that first year.

i got mine from a town near where i live, i live in the U.K u see and the owners bitch just had puppes and put an ad in the newspaper so we went and got him :)
