  • Crazy frog could have covered this better!

  • The problem, as German officials see it, is not that they need to do more, but that they need to do a better job of publicizing what they are already doing.

  • Regarding the planned deployment of more than 20,000 additional U.S. troops to the south, Chancellery Military Affairs Chief Col. Erich Vad thought one likely result would be an influx of insurgents northward into the German area responsibility.

  • SUBJECT: NEW U.S. AF/PAK STRATEGY GENERATES GOOD WILL, BUT

    NOT MANY NEW GERMAN CONTRIBUTIONS

  • @misteplau Because they are a cover band. That's why they're called the West End Girls.

  • we are enjoying their songs

  • I`ve got just one question !? Why ?

  • I was brought up on the Pet Shop Boys, and other Euro-pop bands.

It's good to see this song being revived.

  • Nice cover by WEG.

    One of PSB's greatest songs...

  • cool!!

  • Los Pet Shop Boys son los mejores!!!! pero esta bien este

  • The covers for "What Have I Done To Deserve This?" and "Domino Dancing" were absolutely great, but I prefer the original to this one...

  • :) your great

  • Netter Versuch, aber die Pet Shop Boys toppt niemand!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it was a good effort, but sorry girls, it just sounds lame, does not even create a closer atmosphere as PSB does.

  • I heard this first at a club in Germany. Good cover

  • Девчёнки классные!Вопрос-когда новый альбом?

  • I don't think West End Girls pretend to be The Pet Shop Boys, just an homage.

No, it will never beat the original, but rarely do you hear a cover as good or better that the original anyway. If I want the Pet Shop Boys, I'll pop one of their c.d.'s into the player, but this is an interesting and creative take on their music.

  • im a programmer of music and have have been in the PSB tribute band a few years ago....met PSB a few times...its good to hear different mixes of the same piece of music.....i spent a fair bit of time working out the (16th `s) synth rythm used in the Single, more prominent in the 12" version...which is a vital part to maintaining the identity of the song....and will be posting my version just after Christmas.....im moving to Sweden from UK in a month so may bump into the West End Girls ? Dave

  • This proves that the Pet Shop Boys make each song unique and original. They are creative, brilliant. Groups fear doing remakes of PSB songs because they know their efforts will limp. These girls are cool anyway!

  • Nope, i don't like it. The orchestration just feels wrong and it's not the same without thunderclaps anyway. The original is way better.

  • Only Neil can sing this song I think..

  • i disagree.

  • But I agree!!!!

  • hahahahahahahahahha nice comment :D

  • i love them

  • yeah but your 13 it doesnt count

  • Good, but Gamma Ray made this song their own too. It's the best cover I've heard so far.

  • Gamma Ray?? I heard that cover.. I thought i was a comedy act, like spinal tap.

  • WOW This is good.

I like how they've taken a song and made it their own as a cover instead of making it sound exactly like how it was before(like everyone else does when they're covering)

  • @justy1onle beatiful girls es mui bella my msn marciodaniel76@hotmail.com

  • lalalalal

    everywhere i'm going to...lalalal

    it's a sin lallala

    es increible!!!!!!

  • congratulatios west end girls this song sounds

    very original and wonderfull

  • Woah. I can't describe this... I like it... It just isn't anywhere near as epic as the PSB version. Nah, this cover is alright. I prefer their cover of Suburbia, to this.

  • Yeah they really hit it with suburbia. "What have i done to deserve this" it's really good too.

  • whats there album called?

  • 'Goes Petshopping'

  • I like a lot of WEG's stuff (just bought the album actually) but am not a fan of this one. It's a bit too toned down for me.

  • I see what you are saying...! It does sound too "ordinary" for Pet Shop Boy's "thundering" number.

At the same time, I feel that it is still a tribute in it's "absence of thunder" from the Girls -- as in a statement to the Masters that "we really have no intention of stealing your thunder; we won' t even try! Let the Best do it "right" - ours is only a little tribute!"

    Just a thought!

  • Hi cls14,

Where did you buy ' Goes Petshopping' from please ? I haven't been into the stores yet but i've searched on two websites and can't find it !!

  • Thank you! I've been searching for the full version.
