Everytime I listen to Chomsky, I can feel my brain reshaping...He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize and The Medal of Freedom...A Hundred years from now he'll be taught in schools.
Spin Noam spin. What have you ever done to make this world a better place except stay in your ivory tower and pontificate your fictions? If it wasn't for the GIs in WWII and the American Government winning you would be dead today. OK Noam, ya like that logic?
twentyfourFPS. if you listen to what Chomsky say's he never praises the bad guys he mainly highlights the plight of the oppressed through his research. you dont seem to care about the wickedness of america
@zornlove So true. An estimated 11 million Russian soldiers died fighting fascism. Their contribution was recognised by wartime leaders, including Churchill when he observed that it was the Russians who "tore the guts out of the Nazi war machine". The parade of propaganda films extolling US heroism in that, and the wars of imperialist aggression following, distorts reality. Fortunately we have Noam to shine a light through the layers of mystification. He is a great American.
If Chomsky supported Kerry, the he was probably just being pragmatic: Kerry winning the '04 election would have been a slightly better way for more rational policies to come about, and that isn't the same as saying he was the lesser of two evils.
Chomsky rambles on saying everything, and saying nothing, he describes US Imperialism in detail, and then urges people to vote Democrat. Chomsky told people to Vote Kerry in '04.
Chomsky is a Genius to imbeciles, ignorant and slamic puppets- for what he helps to further the I- Slamic suicidal agenda against all infidels. A professional liar, still in Harvard- thanks to slamic corruption and to Mentally paralyzed American minds-Liberals. If he is not happy in America, why he never left?
No, he keeps his eternal teen manner, knowing that here nothing can happen to his spoiled mouth. What a Hero.- Bestiality.
It's nice to see more and more people starting to question the things that governments do now. Especially the US goverment. I admire Chomsky for how he calmly communicates the facts that most media divert upon.
Yes, this is CBC (Government funded TV channel) Sunday, which is a show that runs basically most of Sunday morning. One of the best programmes on the network.
I wish I didn't have to go to bed and work tomorrow - I could quite happily listen to Chomsky refuting every one of the interviewer's baseless allegations into the small hours. Chomsky's greatest strength is how he uses his arsenal of factual evidence to decimate his opponents black-and-white emotionally-charged 'defences' of Western tyranny against less-fortunate nations.

Evan got a little smarter after Chomsky blatantly owned him in their last interview.
Well not smarter, but more precise w/ his questions.

He will not be bullied.
He will not be intimidated.
He is a fearless, formidable, totally independent voice.
He does something quite simple, but highly unusual.
He tells the truth. Noam Chomsky.

GI's in WW2 didn't win anything. American government always acts on their sponsor's will.
In case you weren't aware the Soviet's won world war 2.
