I recommend having your highest ranged bonus prayer on during jad, and also if you have either low health or MORE THAN ONE of the healers hitting you, turn onthe +15% defense prayer also.

you know? i have an epic setup. i went thru the whole fight caves in 35min. use full void elite with deflector, and switch out your elite top with acp. d boots archers ring(i) with a fury. very very very good setup. (especially when u use ext ranging)

@wtfisit25 its the same amount for everyone, but sometimes the healers respawn if u kill them. i think its because if jad is healed up to like full hp, they just respawn.

lol i just did fight caves yesterday. my first attempt ever. and i got the cape. i also had like 5 brews left over and like.. 15 super restores left. i was nervous as shit on jad, messed up a few times, but luckily he never one hit me. anyway im glad its over. im never gonna risk losing the cape.

@guitarband3 You dont' have to teleport out, because Fight Caves is a SAFE minigame, which means you won't lose any items when you die. If you want to get out theres an exit on the north-eastern corner. And if you kill Jad, the cape automatically appears in your inventory :)

@starfrost94 Don't be scared :D either you'll get a firecape or you won't :D When you log in into a wave, you have time to switch on your prayers before jad spawns. So just log in, select anti-range pray FIRST even if ur pray/hp is low, then listen for the magic attack sounds while running to the North East corner (jad never spawns there). If u hear a magic attack, switch to antimagic pray, then wait for it to hit, then switch to range-pray again, coz u can't hear a ranged attack before it hits.

@starfrost94 Right after he attacks you will have just enough time. Try pressing f1 and f3 to get to your bag and prayers faster, this is what helped me get my fire cape. Practice with f1 and f3, it makes it so much easier

@starfrost94 Have a friend duel you in the duel arena, and bring a couple p pots with you. Have him switch (but not attack) between a bow and a staff. When he uses the staff, pray mage, when he switches to the bow, pray range. Have your friend jumble the order up, it will help you get the reflexes you will need to fight jad

@Iceburstftw NO!!!, Ruby bolts (e) take away some of ur life points with each hit, although it hurts jad alot u dont want jad to hit a 600 and u lose the rest from ruby bolt effect, that would suck, i tried that before, BIIIIIIIIIIIG MISTAKE, if u have alot of money use onyx (e) for jad because their spec takes some of jads lifepoints and adds it to ur, thing is u wont hit hard because of his def which is why most people use diamond to pierce the def. Hope I helped :)
