@MegaMaxemus whole Confucius qte: If a man be under the influence of anger his conduct will not be correct. The same will be the case if he be under the influence of terror, or of fond regard, or of sorrow, or distress. When the mind is not present, we look, but we do not see; we hear, but we do not understand; we eat, and we do not know the taste of what we eat. This is what is meant by saying the cultivation of the individual depends on the right education of the mind. - - Confucius >>

Discharge water @ 30 deg warmer??? How much water are we talking about? I would winder how much of that the Ocean can take before the ocean itself warms a little. Humans seem to be putting their thumbs on the wrong side of the balancing scale of the environment.
@MegaMaxemus More than a billion gallons per day in the boiling water reactors which are about 35% of our reactor entourage of 104 reactors. Of course, we have to worry about leaks into this water, as is happening to the extreme at Fukushima.
@conradmillermd I was kinda thinking more in the lines - if you continuously heat water and put it into cooler water the cooler water will eventually warm. So continuously dumping lets say 100 deg water into 70 deg water the 70 def water will turn to 70.01. Just kinda wondering If Nuclear power is contributing to global warming via warming the ocean slightly.
I live 12 miles away from a Nuke plant in Florida.
Sorry to That India is trying to build this dangerous power supply.
@conradmillermd I have came to the conclusion that people should take the anger over Fukushima and use it for a positive result in a peaceful way. I have been against OIL(no matter how clean you make an engine it is still converting oxygen) and Nuke power since the age of reason. My hopes are that the world will finally brake this bad cycle of harmful power production techniques.
@MegaMaxemus We're at the watershed, & the water's radioactive, coming out of Fukushima. How about this quote from Confucius re anger: ' If a man be under the influence of anger his conduct will not be correct. The same will be the case if he be under the influence of terror, or of fond regard, or of sorrow, or distress. @conradmillermd People in Japan would not be human if they weren't angry. What to do? Become violent (maybe not a good idea). The action I think should happen is the people affected (refugees). I think Japan should gather them and give them a new living. Have them build a Alt energy so they can turn off the remaining reactors. + at the end of it they will have the infrastructure to produce the devices that would allow more reactors to be turned off. We need to keep this from happening again.
